Homestead Elementary School

Both of my boys have gone to Homestead and loved it. All the teachers have been wonderful and the Principal is chill but has a sense of structure and vision for the kids.

Best school ever, just don't go to the ESD program, it's torture. But I do recommend this school! :D

Great place, due to potholes the field near the playground needs maintenance.

I am so disappointed in this school. This was my sons 3rd year to attend and I had to pull him out halfway thru his 5th grade year. He was being told (by his teacher Mrs. Reeves) that he would never get and job and if he did he would be fired. He is constantly being belittled by Mrs Reeves in front of the whole class. She is absolutly terrible. We had her in 3rd grade and it was a total nightmare for my son and myself. He is not the best student but he gets humiliated in front of his peers on a daily basis. I am so over it, she need to retire!!!! I will do whatever I can to get the word out about her behavior. Its so sad that students don't have anywhere to turn when they are getting bullied by their teacher. Of course he isn't going to do what you ask him. You have treated him like trash. She comes to me like I am going to help her. She has lied to my face several times over the years. Sorry hunny I am going to help you make my son feel worse about himself. I had to pull him out of this school for his MENTAL WELLBEING!!!!! If you are considering this school, yes their curriculum is amazing, but is it worth it if the teachers are allowed to belittle our children, tell our children that they wont go anywhere in life. NO this CANNOT be ACCEPATBLE!!!!
