Brick Works Brewing and Eats - Smyrna

Wonderful, this was my first visit to Brick Works but I would definitely go back. The menu selection was great but the food…..over the top! Whoever runs the kitchen knows what they are doing. They even got me on a homemade pumpkin cheesecake that was fabulous! This place is a must try for everyone. Please keep up the good work

This is one of my new favorite places to eat. The service, food and atmosphere all very good. My husband and I have been there 3 times within 3 months. The Big Ruben delicious. I would also recommend the scallop Po Boy, Autumn harvest salad, Carne Asada. Honestly myself and the people we have went there with all liked our meals every time. The only thing that I didn't like was the pasta salad. I absolutely love this place ❤ 👍🏻👍🏻

WOW! 1st time customers and I can't think of a better way to say how impressed I was. Atmosphere is amazing and very inviting, the appetizer (crab and artichoke dip) was 1 of the best apps I've had at a restaurant, me and wife got burgers and fries and to say they were perfect would be an understatement 10/10 for this place our waitress was very attentive and the in-house craft beers were amazing....looking forward to returning! Even since it's an hour from home

I can't describe how good this place is. Everything I have tried has been an 8 or better on a 1-10 scale. Everything is homemade, including the dressings! If you want to get some of the best food in Delaware, come here. Get a sample of the Pucker Up! beer just to walk on the wild side!

I have tried the Pork Schnitzel, The Bandit chicken sandwich, Brisket Pot Roast, Key Lime Pie, Bacon Wrapped Bleu Cheese Stuffed Dates, Mac & Cheese with Blackened Chicken, Nacho Mama, Brisket & Bleu Cheese Spring Rolls, and the Duck Poutine. I am attempting to try something new each time I visit so I can see if I can find a favorite. All have been favorites! They also have a few daily specialties but I have ordered all off the main menu so far.

I have now tried a few more items. Mussels, S'Mores, Chili, and Apple Crisp are OK but the Chocolate Chip Cheesecake, Brisket Sandwich, Pineapple Cheesecake ROCK! They have different items on the daily extra menu so there is always something new to try. I also prefer the french fries over the pasta salad.

2017-03-12 The corned beef and cabbage with potatoes was AWESOME!!!! The chocolate chip cookie with ice cream was really good. This is definitely one of the best restaurants in the area

2017-04-19 Had the Shepherd's Pie and it was delicious! Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheesecake was also the daily special so I had a piece. Can I just say that I am never disappointed and I have a terrible time choosing between all the new items knowing how much I love some of the other items I tried. Great food!

The food was fantastic, better than we've had in a long time. We started with French Onion Soup. Oh my God, it was the best we ever had. The broth was rich a flavorful. Lots of onions and just the right amount of cheese. And, it was piping hot. Next, I had blackened salmon with asparagus and succotash. Unbelievable. I also got a ride order of Brussel Sprouts. Absolutely delish. My wife got a cheeseburger with sauteed onions. She said it was the best she's had in a long time. All the food came out really hot.y wife had key lime pie. Said she felt like she was in Key West. Our server was Carrie. She was very nice and brought the food out promptly. If I could rate this place a 10 I would. We just moved to Smyrna from a Philly suburb and this has by far been the best dinner we've had.

Absolutely some of the best flavorful food we've had... flight of beer-different and diverse; strawberry salad-holy moly, it was amazing and very pleading to the taste buds. The goat cheese was super creamy, the pickled rhubarb started with a sweet taste but then turned sour. Brisket and bleu cheese spring rolls-amazing combination of food to create a wonderful taste. Steak tacos-The steak was wonderfully tasty and tender. The sauce has a bit of taste and is perfect for topping off the tacos.

This salmon dish was absolutely fantastic 💯 . I would recommend anyone who goes there to get this dish, especially with the red sauce.... I got extra on the side.. it was great!!! My Husband got the half chicken dish and it was not good at all. No flavor in the chicken and the greens were to tough. The long island ice tea was sooooo good too.

Perfect. My husband said I should play the lottery because I had 0 complaints. In my defense, I am a chef and we tend to be critical. Exactly as expected.

To be fair we didn't dine in, but ordering on the phone was easy, picking up was easy, and the food was PHENOMENAL even though they missed one requested edit which was easy to remove at home. Best chicken sandwich I've had in years and I wish we had ordered from here sooner, so good!

The schnitzel with sides is big enough to have a second meal, which lowers the meal cost by half. It is delicious.

Love this place! Great staff, very friendly and personable. Always my go to when I want to eat out, laugh with others and watch a game!

Very good service and food. There was a decent amount of people there, but food still came out quickly and was great! Employees are very nice and friendly. 👍🏼

Loved this place. Food was delicious. I had the fish tacos and they did not disappoint. I had beer and a drink and both were really good. The staff was also very nice and accommodating. We basically stayed until closing on a Sunday and they were still very nice. Definitely planning to return and recommend to others.

We explored Bombay Hook nature preserve and wanted to grab a bite to eat before heading home. Wow, what a treat Brick Works was. A brewery with great, made from scratch American fare. We had the Loaded Nachos to start and I had the Kill It Skillet mac and cheese. So fresh and so much flavor. Go there!

So as this is the only place to eat in this this area , this was our last and only hope to get some good food.
This food was so delicious it honestly blew my mind. Talk about from scratch. I had a falafel with fries which was great! My husband has a crispy chicken burger and fries. Then between us two we had the half plate of nachos. Talk about great food.

I made a JOKE of if they didn’t pass their inspection because of roaches or rats I’d be okay - it’d just assume they were helping the cooks like in the movie ratatouille 😂😂

Nonetheless , that isn’t the case. Their food is amazing, definitely would go back for more delicious food.

We stopped here randomly on our way home from the beach. The food was so interesting and had lots of unique flavor combinations. I enjoyed the scallop and brussel salad, though I think I would have liked it more cold. My husband loved his burger and daughter enjoyed her flatbread. The fire and earth fries were out of this world good too. Only issue really was that the restaurant was very warm.

Great place to just take in some nice cold hops and food!

Amazing. It was my second time going there (my first was like 4 years ago) and it was my boyfriends first time there and we had such a great time. The service, food and drinks were great. Robbin was our server and she was kind, attentive and friendly. We ordered a chocolate covered pretzel porter and the go go gose beer which were both tasty. Not to mention the loaded nachos, black bean burger and brisket sandwich. Can’t wait to go back!

One of my favorite places to frequent. Atmosphere is perfect, love the Brick Flair cocktail, & the crabby fries are to die for!
