Jay Peak Resort, State Side Base

This is a review for the gear shop -- I went in hoping for some guidance in buying a new pair of skis. I was guided expertly through the whole process. Everyone in the shop is knowledgeable, helpful, and warm. I very much enjoyed talking with the gear experts about what skis to demo and ultimately walked out with a pair of skis I feel great about. Would recommend!

Best mountain on the east coast, hands down. If you know you know.. If not get up there and get in the glades!

Jay Peak stateside was incredible, friendly staff and a great place to teach the new skiers in the family.

A busy but really nice place to ski. Beginners area is expansive and perfect for those getting started or wanting to take it to the next level. I love Cannon in NH but this is a perfectly large beginner's area. The rest of Jay is solid blues and blacks. Just watch out for when it gets crowded... it will really beat you up.

There are many different lifts and trails for all ski levels at Jay Peak. The top of the mountain was very windy the day I skied. There was a lot of fresh snow and powder that day. I spent a half a day skiing there and am looking forward towards going back again someday as I wasn't able to fully explore the mountain. One warning: Don't get caught on the lower level of the mountain when it closes. My wife and I had to walk a long ways in ski boots to get back to the Stateside parking lot. It's definitely a place worth visiting for the serious skier.

Great Skiing - Jay Cloud blessed us with some great conditions

Great place to learn to ski. The instructor was great and very patient with our group of kids. Snow conditions were good, especially for a warm day. Rental was smooth and easy. Took my measurements and I had my equipment 3inutes later

Modern and laid out we'll. Gear shop is one of the best I've seen in a while, rental folks very friendly and helpful, plenty of parking, comfortable inside for all your base lodge needs.

The 2 year pass for college students is by far the best ski deal I've ever seen, I really hope they keep it next year when I need to renew!

I try to go every year. Lots of hills closer but it’s worth the extra distance. 81 runs, lots of glades and lots of snow.

Great place to ski and play. Wish I could check out the spa! Next time! Great restaurants. Miso Hungry has fantastic Ramen.
