Hoth Lee Art Gallery

This gallery has a lot to share. Many diverse artists under one roof. A real taste of the Northwoods with photos as well as paintings, pottery, jewelry and much more. Definitely worth a side trip off of hwy 2. We got to meet one of the owners, who also does the photography. She is charming and has an amazing eye for nature. You have to be there to really understand. Great space, great works, and an amazing caretaker!

My wife and I loved this place! Very unique and varied types of art, all by local artisans. No "Made in China" knock offs here. To top it off, prices were not the outrageous ones you see in most tourist areas. We were greeted and helped by a very knowledgeable and personable lady, whom I believe was the owner.

My wife and I live in Duluth, and almost always make an "annual trip" to Bayfield. We HAVE to stop at this gallery EVERY time! They have BEAUTIFUL pottery and unique jewelry. Prices are VERY reasonable. It's worth a stop if you're on the South Shore of Gitchee Gumee!

Beautiful pieces from far and near artist, good people, very knowledgeable artist on duty when we visited, enjoyed sharing information, loved their sign.

So very rude, we came to meet the community and decided to stop at a flea market. We parked in the parking lot and a very rude women came out of this establishment and began yelling at us for simply parking. She claimed that the lot was restricted to park in unless they were to view the gallery, yet there were not any "no parking" signs to be seen. When told about her fault she replied in a very rude manner. We would have gone into the gallery, but after such a distasteful encounter with the owner we decided to stay away.
