Anchor Inn Campground & Cabins

Absolutely loved our stay at the anchor Inn Campground! So much that we came back the next week and have stayed at two different cabins.

They are so cute and so cozy, close to everything in town and has everything you need right next-door.

The family who runs the campground and store are very genuine people who care and who are at your service If you happen to need anything. Some of the nicest people you’ll meet.

Jessica, her dad and family are absolutely awesome and excited to return soon..

Been coming up here for almost 30 years. Good service. Nice little cabins. Plenty of parking. Awesome smoked fish at the Johnson store next door. Funny that people would leave a bad review because of poor wifi (which has been updated and works great now) but you are on vacation up north turn off your phone and enjoy it.

In the small town of Port Wing is this great campground and cabins! The cabins are newly remodeled and clean. The camp sites are full service,water,electricity,and sewer! You are 2 miles from beautiful Lake Superior,an hour from Bayfield or Duluth/Superior! Twin Falls park is right down the road,museum right across the street. Last but not the least you have a store with everything right next door! You will enjoy it here.

I love the new remodeled cabins the price.there you can cook small meals inside or use the fire pit and grate and cook outdoors.beds are very comfortable the pillows are not pancakes 😂 . I have seen a new improvement for the last three years in a row it is a great lay over spot as you can tour lots from this spot 30 minute drive to the beautiful sea caves. They have a swimming beach. They also stay open late in the year for hunters and fishermen. It’s nice to have the store close

Stayed at this place in both a camper and in the cabins over the years and have seen a tremendous amount of improvements to the buildings and sites! Price was great! Certain times of the year it's busier then normal but that's expected anywhere you go. It's not a hotel but that's why we chose it. I suggest if you want to rough it go tenting, if you want room service get a hotel, if you want something in between that then this is the place!

This place has been our vacation spot for years. We brought our kids and now we have a huge crew of our kids with their kids and some of their kids! It is so affordable and comfortable and clean. A nice change from the normal fast paced places. We can relax and enjoy the quiet and beautiful spot! We love it!!

We had our camper there permanently & have stayed in the cabins. Love all the remodeling. The other campers were really nice. Very reasonable rates & food & sight seeing are not to far away. So close to Lake Superior for fishing, swimming or just a stroll on the beach. Highly recommend Anchor Inn Campground ❤❤

We had a great time at the Anchor Inn. It was the prefect place to set up base camp to do some exploring. We pitched tents, they had cute cabins and spots for RV'S as well. Close to town, a short hike to Twin Falls and a couple of miles to 2 of the most beautiful sandy Boreal Forest Beaches on Lake Superior. We will be back.

Very cozy get away! Cabins have coffee pot, griddle and toaster oven which made it easy to prepair meals with the kids along. Cabins are small but were equiped with everything we needed, and a very resonable price. Location is great, very close to everything in town.

We are loving our stay here! Beds are very comfortable, cabins are clean, all amenities work properly and exceeded our expectations! Highly recommend!

We Stayed here this summer, they had everything we needed for a cozy weekend retreat. The kids really enjoyed campfires and nearby access to local fishing and hiking!

One of the best I've seen!! The owner is very nice and will do anything to accommodate your stay here! And a store rite next to it that has any essentials you could need on your stay!!

This is a nice little RV park with clean restrooms and showers. It is mainly filled by seasonal renters, so call before showing up if you need to hook your RV up.

We absolutely love this place! Showers and bathroom and a store right here. A park across the street and the marina is a mile away! So relaxing.

Cabins are very clean and cozy. A great little gem on our vacation drive for a one night stay.
