Excellent meat market! Great selection of high quality fresh and frozen cut meat items. They also make a good selection of flavored bratwurst and frozen fish. We bought some excellent pork ribs at a very reasonable price recently.

Lots of options pre-cut but have cut to order options. Has a good hometown family feel. I had a great experience there with a delicious outcome. Highly recommend.

We found this little gem when we were staying at an Airbnb. SOO glad we did! The food is so fresh and amazing! I love that I know going in there I am helping families survive not corporations rule. We went last year from Chicago area and came back again this year knowing Mississippi Meats was going to be one of our first stops!

Love this place. Best meat choices in town. Fresh, frozen meat, fryer foods, produce and main staples. One stop shop. Prices are very reasonable.

Excellent local / tri-state meat, vegetables, fruits, dairy. All products are fresh and great quality. Staff are super friendly and courteous. Prices for quality product can't be beat. Not to mention the fact that you know where your products are coming from, unlike the big box and local groceries in town.

Great butcher shop! They have wonderful weekly specials. Large variety of meats and meals. Staff are always helpful and friendly. They usually have some nice seafood as well.

Amazing bacon, chicken and beef. Sweet local staff. It has fresh butcher meat, pre marinated meat options, a tone of sausages to choose from. It also has a small produce and grocery section to try to help make it 1 stop. Support this business!

All of their meat products are really good. One of my favorites, is the beef stir fry. My family loves it. Great service provided by a friendly and helpful staff. I definitely would recommend going there.

Frestest cuts of meat in town!!! Everyone very helpful and friendly!!! Awesome Sauce Brats, verious steaks, pork chops(HUGE!!!), chicken, salads & sides!!!! I can't say enough good about this shop. We won't buy meat anywhere else. Also sells bulk meat for meat slicers. Definitely a 5 🌟 meat shop!!!!

I wasn't aware of this great hidden secret in Prairie. My first visit certainly will not be my last.
