Great Kayaking spot. Exploring the backwater channels of the islands made me forget I was in Wisconsin and not in a Louisiana Bayou. Come join us every July 7th for Cornell's Guinness Book of World Records attempt at becoming the biggest gathering of kayaks and canoes. This year we were about 200 boats short of beating the current record holders.

Beautiful park. Have come here for fireworks and National night out. Right by the water. And they even have a skate park.

Great place. There is a pavillion with modern kitchen amenities and modern bathrooms. Also two playgrounds and skateboard area. There is a visitor center with incredible artifacts and volunteers very knowledgeable of area. On the shore is a kayak launch dock.

Farmers markets every Wednesday throughout the spring and summer, special events and other parties can be reserved and held here, bathrooms facilities and water fountains are available. The Chippewa River rendezvous is held here annually in late August and the playground is open year-round. The grounds are maintained and there are fish in all the bodies of water you have access to here.

We to the park for the fireworks on the 3rd of July. We have been going there for years for the fireworks. Was a good time and once again the park was in great shape.
