Flipped Table Games

Lively place with a helpful good-natured store-hand who helped me pick out a D&D guide for a friends birthday gift. Clearly a family friendly store cause there was a bunch of kids running around. There were some people gathered at a table playing magic cards that had some good banter going. Probably a cool place to hang out and play some games.

The owners and playing community are fantastic. The shop has a laid back, chill vibe and is handicap accessible along with the bathrooms. Their selection of drinks and snacks are also impressive and fairly priced. The location is nice with lots of free parking and is next door to a pizza place (heck yes!). The events are great and include even obscure tcg's such as Digimon. The best way to stay in the loop is to literally go because a lot of news is word of mouth. If you can't hang out regularly, I highly recommend their very active discord server. I wish we lived closer and had a better vehicle situation. If so, we'd be there all the time.

Fantastic people that give you honest help when you don't know what you're looking at :) Very understanding and friendly! Would recommend the store for the newbies and experts and everything in between. I will be returning.

The customer service here beats out any other game store I’ve been too. They didn’t have a product I wanted, but ordered it for me and called when it came in. They have always been more than willing to walk me through games I’m not familiar with and have given us some great recommendations as well!

The first time my family visited, Jeremy (co-owner) stopped the game he was playing to give us a bit of a tour and show us the spacious gaming room next door that's part of the store. We were immediately welcomed onto the discord server to arrange WH40K games with other players. It's a very nice environment and everyone has been super friendly and welcoming.

Bought some Lorcana packs and pulled a Cinderella. 5 stars.

I’ve been meaning to review Flipped Table for awhile now. They have been great to me. If you are looking for a community to be a part of, they are very welcoming. Come to an event, and you’ll quickly fit right in. The owners and the regular player base are all friendly and helpful. Literally, they will play with you and/or teach you how to play any nerd game that you want here. As someone who is kinda introverted, Chris (one of the owners) has been a really great host and has made me feel comfortable in social situations that are usually more taxing for me. I’ve been to other game stores across multiple states and have even been a regular at some of them… it is rare and special for a place to make you feel that you belong there the way Flipped does.

They have magic the gathering, friendly staff, board games, is handicap accessible, spiners delivers pizza there, Amazing events for a variety of ages, clean facilities, lgbtq+ friendly, open fantastic hours and staff that understands what it means to run a family business in a tight community. If you have any questions about anything just shoot them a call. Adjectives I would use to describe Flipped Table Games are, fun, close, happy, entertaining, creative, welcoming. It's something fun to do near you and definitely a fun place to vist. It's a great game store if you want to learn a new game or get better at an old one. If you need an activity than stop on by I highly recommend it.

When I first moved to Madison I was looking for a game store to go to weekly to play table top games and the last year I've only come to Flipped Table. To me it's more than a game store. It's like a second home. The owners have become personal friends as well as a few other regulars. I've even expanded my list of games. The culture is fun and friendly. I highly recommend!

I don’t live in the area, but I stopped in because of my love for all things tabletop and I absolutely loved this shop. It has an amazing variety of board games, miniatures, paints and supplies. If I lived nearby this would be my go to LGS and it’s not even up for debate. I wish my LGS was as incredible as this place! If I’m in the area again I will be back to support this shop!

Super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Great environment and the best trade in rates I've seen anywhere. Easily consistently the best game store experience I've ever had. Unfortunately it won't let me give more than 5 stars.

Great people. Love that they had a selection of cards with “kid friendly prices” and that the man behind the counter was willing to go over all of the $1-5 cards with my son until he found one we wanted. They have a true love of gaming there that shows through with their customer interactions.

Fantastically welcoming store that wants fun, casual and competitive players of all kinds to come and play! Tons of product with a wide selection. Kid friendly and adult welcoming, if you're looking for a first time shop for you or your child, you'll do well to come here!

Overall a very well put together store. A wide selection of dungeons and dragons products. The thing that truly sets flipped table apart from other local stores is the quality of their staff. They go above and beyond to ensure that they can help you find everything you’re looking for, and if there’s something you’re after that they don’t have, they will go out of their way to try to get it in stock for you.

Flipped table games has a great staff and is an awesome community that are very friendly and want to help you anyway they can no matter the game you enjoy playing. Chris is 1 in a million as an owner. Very friendly loves to chat and help.

Wonderful experience. I owed them a review for what they did for me. They went over and beyond for me. I was looking for a specific playmat (Niv Mizzet Reborn) for MTG. They were the only store to have it. I searched online with no luck except for Flipped Table Games. I live out of state and they were able to ship it to me. Thank you!!!

My 1st game with the playmat I lost lol. In true Niv fashion, I was reborn with a win the 2nd game.

Even though they don't have a lot of players, there the staff make it worth coming there. You can just sit down, and play casual, or you can play competitive if you like that. They have it on the schedule and they have food nearby which is fantastic and pretty decent parking.

The owners are knowledgeable, friendly, and eager make every shopping experience a pleasure. They will go the extra mile in trying to find a product they might not have in stock. Their prices are very fair, and it makes the half hour trek worth while.
