Crossroads Chateau

If you are passing by or a local stop in. We have recently discovered this place (after many recommendations) The quintessential Wisconsin road-side bar. The waitress (damn I can’t remember her name) is so friendly. The food is great, the best pizza around. Had a prime rib Saturday, it was perfect to my specifications. The feel is def north woods. Very homey and comfortable. We went there 3! times in 10 days. Have yet to sit at the bar but will soon. 5 ⭐

First time visiting. Good menu, nice decor. Service was a little slow, but no worse than any other place these days - our server was working her butt off! Pepperjack cheese curds were super tasty and my wife loved the halibut.

My 'go to' happy place for friendly atmosphere. 😊

Friendly staff, good food, the owners are usually there working their butts off but always take a minute to ask how everything is. Vicki always asks how the family is as well. Nice personal touches!

Friendly staff; nice clean, upscale bar; great food. Bluegills were excellent and so was the pizza. Prime rib looked awesome. Haven't tried it yet but according to those who have it's the best around. Will try on our next stop. Can't wait!!

We were there on a Friday evening and they had their Fish Fry happening and they were busy and you could see the entire staff was working hard and they were all very polite and smiling and offered quick service for our group of 6 people. We only had drinks but we were all impressed with the friendly service.

Food and service were great. Food came out pretty fast. Had a pizza burger and corn dog bites. My son had grilled chicken. Both were good.

We had the blackened walleye and baked potato. It was delicious!

Excellent fish fry and friendly faces

Excellent stop on route to wausau, right off expressway. Reminds you of the good old days ( menu choices and hospitality). Its a bar, but good table service. Draws a large lunch crowd. Great prices! Best pattymelt I've had in years.

Nice place. Roomy with a high ceiling and well light. The staff were kind and a joy to interact with. The fish fry was delicious. Will eat here again.
