Cool Rock Formations, A few hiking trails. The Camels Bluff trail is an easy 1.25 mile round trip hike. Part of the Ice Age trail runs through the park. Easy access off of I-90/94 from Camp Douglas or Oakdale exits

Great day for a hike, lots of leaves covering the trails. But it just made it that much more beautiful. Dogs are PROHIBITED on the trail
That's not good.... no playground. Beach across the street. I did not notice a picnic area.

Nice small state park. Trail up to the top of the bluff via the stairs is a challenge, but the views are worth it. There is a small lake for swimming only, picnic tables a plenty, a playground and there are restrooms available.

Absolutely incredible state park to hike and explore! So fun to explore and learn about it's past and the creation of the bluffs. You will need to stop at one of the gates and pay for a pass that goes on your dash to be there. You gotta go up to the observation deck at the top of long bluff, amazing view! And depending on the season, bring bug spray.

Nice park and walking path. Wasn't able to find the needle nor the stairs, but still found camel bluff and saw some great scenery.

A stunning scenic Cambrian outlook Mill Bluff State Park is located in Monroe and Juneau County Wisconsin, near Volk Field Air National Guard Base. Interstate 90/39 goes through the park. As part of the Ice Age National Scientific Reserve, this park protects several prominent sandstone bluffs 80-200 feet high that formed as geological sea stacks left by Glacial Wisconsin around 12,000 years ago. Mill Bluff is named from an old saw mill operated nearby many years ago.  A 223-step stairway was built to the short summit to protect the bluff’s rock. Few of the bluffs have Native American bird petroglyphs. Bee bluff is closest to interstate. Camels Bluff is two rock outcroppings that together resemble two humps on a camels back or two camels together. Hmmm. Adjacent to camels bluff is Long Bluff. Wildcat Bluff and Bear Bluff in the north vista South view features Round Bluff and Sugar Bowl Bluff. Cleopatra’s Needle and Devils Monument is nearby on the camels bluff hiking trail. Limited camping and few facilities available (no showers), picnic and shelter areas, small beach for swimming, hiking trails, hunting during season, no fishing or boating. Sticker is required. Handicap accessible parking spots. See Wisconsin DNR website for more information.

Great campground with a beautiful beach. The only downside is the freight trains and highway that’s on both sides. The trains are super loud especially at 2-3am.
Also- most sites have no electricity so don’t forget the power bank and extra flashlights.
Loved my stay but I don’t know if I’d do it again

Great hike on a perfect day! We did both north & south side trails. The long bluff had a few steps to get to the top (>100’ up 😵‍💫) well worth it for the views.

A good hike. Not easy as there's a step climb. However, a short hike.

Absolutely stunning views from the top. It may not be Zion nor the Grand Canyon, but it sure feels like once you get to the top. The hike up is strenuous and not for the folks with asthma or want to skip leg day. The area overall is stunning and makes you forget you're in the dairy state. Would return.

Nice park with a small campground, quaint beach, and short but intense set of trails to some of the most beautiful bluff views in the state.

Wonderful State Park with several hiking trails I clouding the option to climb up a rock stairway of over 240 steps to the top to the lookout area. Lots of nature to be discovered.

Great local area. Small but great exploring for kids, camping and parking is ample. Also there is a swimming pond.

The park is kind of fragmented. There is a short one mile trails at each end of the park, and you can walk along the road for .7 miles to connect them. I did the whole thing and ended up with 4.3 miles. The overlook at the top of mill bluff is definitely the coolest part, but climbing around on the rocks in the natural area is cool as well.
