Amazing place every city should have a place of history
/museum like this! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and care about the community. Wonderful that they have a section for the high school and yearbooks as well. This is a true gold mine and must see even if you are passing through - so much to see for everyone of all ages.

A must go to place if your cartoonist artist or war military enthusiasts. This was my donation, a Frank King commemorative sign Gasoline Alley.

This museum covers the span of Tomah from beginning to the present. It is easy to get through. Many memories of toys, etc. The people are friendly and knowledgeable.

Interesting. Variety of artifacts from Tomah area located in a past dress shop.. Well presented. Large collection of artwork by artist Frank King (the historic comic "Gasoline Alley", portraits, political cartoons from Chicago papers, other) Native American, civil war, cranberry & other businesses, clothing, toys, house hold items, government, hats, Knights of Pythious, maps, daily life since 1830s, much more. Director available for deeper information -best if make appointment. Hosts/Hostesses helpful but don't hover. If need wheelchair access, ask the host to set up the ramp. Free. Air conditioned. Open April - October and by appointment.
