Canoeing from bridge 1 to bridge 10 was amazing. The rock formations and wild birds were plentiful. Be alert for trees/branches in the water.

This is an excellent access to the Kickapoo River. The only drawback to this location is the amount of traffic you will have to deal with from the three outfitters in town. Most of their private launches are just upstream from Landing 1.

There is ample parking, with an equally ample staging area for unloading boats. There is usually a port-o-potty here as well.

Please be courteous and move your vehicle as soon as you unload your boat. You can always bring the rest of your gear from your vehicle after you clear the staging area.

Great place to put in for our Kayaking trip. Nice concrete ramp and a fair amount of parking.
