I went in to use the atm and the magnetic strip on my card was beat up, I went inside to see if I could get a bit of receipt paper to fold over my card to help with it reading my card. They gave me a look of disgust and told me they did not feel comfortable with doing that. All I needed was a piece of blank receipt paper because their outdated atm didn’t use a chip reader. The other worker there barked out “think you should order a new card?” Which I replied to with yeah it’s probably about time for a new one! Which was followed with a “well there ya go.” It wasn’t a huge deal but for someone who grew up in the area you expect a certain amount of human decency and it was not shown that day at the bank.
