I dined in here tonight with my son and in-laws. My family-in-laws have been living here for years but have never tried this restaurant before.
The restaurant serves free salad and soup. Today's soup was ham & pea, and surprisingly, there was so much ham in it.
My mother-in-law and I ordered baked haddock and mashed potato with butter ranch on the side. We also had Spotted Cow beer.
Other family members tried a fish sandwich with fries and a burger woth homemade chips, and everybody loved their food.
Total of 2 lemonade, 3 bottles of beer and 2 baked haddock, 1 fish sandwich & 1 burger were $66 before tax. They even gave us free dessert because it was Friday. My mother-in-law loved the dessert so much!
My family-in-laws were impressed with service from our server. They truly loved the foods from here.
I highly recommend this restaurant if you are visiting or living near here.

I can’t say enough great things about working with Angel for our wedding. We used their beautiful wedding barn and catering and the food was delicious and drinks were great! Everything went flawlessly and it made wedding planning a great experience!

Amazing Gluten Free Fried Haddock! They also offer gluten free appetizers that are delicious as well!

Great atmosphere! Friendly staff and excellent food. Slightly off the traveled path but a gem to visit!

Great bar. A friend's wedding was there and it was beautifully set up with plenty of space. Brought our smaller children, even though it is a bar and they had plenty of space outside for kids the play together and run.

Great food and quick service. Sat at the bar while I waited for my takeout order and I will definitely return. Seems like a nice place to hang out and have some cold snacks (drinks).

Great fish fry. We love their shrimp dinner. Unfortunately, the distributor did not come through, and they were out. Love the soup and salad bar on Fridays...nice touch! The homemade chips are delicious!

Not going to lie I was skeptical of this place. But I am glad I checked it out. The staff is friendly and the food is amazing! I had a gluten free pizza and it was tremendous! I highly recommend checking them out if you're in the area.

Best place around for pizza and hand breaded deep fried mushrooms. Love going here and the staff and owner are so friendly. Great home town bar and grill.

Stopped through on my husband's truck route. What a pleasant surprise. Food was great, I mean the in house alfredo sauce and perfectly seasoned boasted chicken were top tear. 😋 will stop through again! Mentioned bingo on Wednesdays

Best bar experience I've ever had!

Very homey and welcoming atmosphere. I must admit, I was a bit apprehensive about this small town bar at first, but it took all but 5 minutes to feel at home.

Tom(?), the owner & bartender, was drinking, playing dice, and having fun. The local patrons were having a blast and many, many laughs were had.

A stranger all bought us a round of drinks.

Food was greasy and delicious! I highly recommend the BLT.

Will stop whenever I'm in the Amherst/Amherst Junction area

Some friends and I were looking for a place to go for a late lunch. We picked Bootleggers because it was close and I'm so glad we did. We had a really great time. The waitress was fun. Our service was great! We actually wanted her to join us! The food was great. And the atmosphere warm. Lots of options for the gluten free as well. Stop in!

Friendly bartenders, much nicer people than the Junction Bar. They actually talk to you here, not just stare at you. Good food too! The bartender offered to drive Curtis home, but he declared he wasnt drunk, it was daylight, and he could make it. Close knit Town where everyone seems to really care about each other. Even people like Curtis:)

I am gluten free, and this was some of the best gluten free food I have ever had at a bar!! And both the bartenders were very nice and helpful with informing about the gluten free options!

Nice country bar, they had good music and great food

We had the ham and chicken dinner for our Easter meal. We enjoyed it all. There were heaping portions all delicious. Thank you Bootleggers for helping make our stay in place dinner a winner.

Great Family Meal. A very comfortable place to stop for the after Ball game meal!

First time here and I had the prime rib, which was absolutely delicious. Best cut of meat I've had in years.

Staff was super friendly and very outgoing. I will be coming here again. Awesome experience!
