Very nice, place to see and take in what has happened with our country over many yrs.
It was nice to see that this place talked about what this country and its armed forces has gone threw to keep us FREE.
I hope this place stays like it its because, this the only way our grandchildren and there children will be able to see what has taken place to be have FREEDOM .

My wife and stopped at each monument and read the place and time of what happened.

Was also surprised there was not more people here, was only one other couple.

This place needs to be visited.

This park was well planned and laid out. There are memorials from every armed conflict since Arcadia was founded. It covers everything from the Mexican American war thru Desert Stomr. The park is well maintained and clean, offers many places to sit and rest. The only complaint is that it has room to grow. I hope it does not grow.

For small town, unbelievable history. They even have a steel beam from Twin towers. What a tribute to local veterans! Also great location with hills, local park.

This is a very nice memorial park. From the first Independence War to the Perisan war there is a memorial for all of them. It was a very emotional and proud place to be. If you are in Acadia WI you have to see this.

There had to be close to 100 statues in this park. Extremely well designed, it's a walk through time, honoring those who have fallen. We spent about an hour here and could have easily spent half the day. Many school groups were there on this day and it was heartening to hear kids asking questions about our history. Absolutely incredible contribution in this town of 3,000, Ashley Furniture created a beautiful thing.

Love this memorial. The walk is best (in my opinion) as the sun is setting in the spring time. The statues, water feature, and landscape are all so prominent as the sun sets, it really illuminates the environment! Love the whole thing!

It's a very nice place. It looks like there is a statue honoring the people who served in every war. The flowers are awesome. I'm comming back this fall They have large fields and pavilions for family get-togethers. I saw a water park near the walk too. If your into Pokemon go, they have lots of gyms and stops.

I just love this park! I've been once before, but this time we had our daughter, and she was old enough to start grasping the implications of what the monuments mean. It is such an amazing thing to have tangible things to assist in teaching our kids.

For those of you who don't know, Soldiers Walk is a chronological experience of most of our history as it relates to the military. There are statues ranging from George Washington, down through George Bush and his leadership during the Persian Gulf War. Various memorials honor those from the area who served in these conflicts, and make special mention of those who were deployed into combat, and mark those who were killed in action.

There are a few vehicles on display here, including a tank, an F-16 fighter jet (which I didn't get to see on my previous trip), and even some artillery pieces. Of particularly poignant note, for me personally, was the section dedicated to 9/11, including a twisted structural I-beam from the World Trade Center attack. It is a tangible reminder of the horrors of war, and a place to reflect on our roles not just as citizens of the United States, but also our greater place as human beings in an ever more globalized world.

If you are considering going, I really think you owe it to yourself to see it. Even if you stop to read every piece of engraving, you could easily clear the park in an hour or less, but it is also resides in a nice area for relaxing in the good weather and enjoying being outside.
