By-Pass Animal Clinic

My first time at By-Pass Animal Clinic today, was wonderful. Very friendly and caring staff. Will continue taking my Pineapple Conure to them.

I’m so thankful for the kindness, honesty, and patience my dog Finn and I received this past week. Finn got into something outside that made him incredibly sick and I had to make the toughest decision of my life to let him go. Dr. Eidson was able to work him in after he started going downhill after his original appointment and kept him overnight in hopes that he would improve. She was honest about his prognosis with me without sugar coating anything or giving me false hope which I appreciated more than anything, she allowed me to visit him and never rushed me out even when they were about to close, and she let me take all the time I needed with him when it came time to make that final decision. I also want to specifically thank Gwen for always being so kind and compassionate with Finn and to me, and Jamie for being in the room with me when I said goodbye to my best friend. This has been the hardest thing I’ve ever gone through, but the staff at Bypass has made it as easy as it could possibly be. Thank you so much for caring for me and the world’s best boy until his last breath.

The best vet care! I have been taking my animals to Dr. Walls for 15 years. Dr. Edson is the best with cats. I trust them & their prices are reasonable. I moved to Fl & still drive back to KY just for there care here.

This place is amazing and they genuinely care about your pets. They are kind and want to help. The staff is knowledgeable and extremely willing to accommodate you. They are also very patient with your animals.
They can be kind of busy sometimes though!

Staff is very friendly! They are doing a wonderful job keeping everyone safe and your 4 legged companion safe during these stressful times! They are priced really well! When I was looking around for a vet I was very impressed to find that their prices are compatible and the reviews are very high. I had to check them out for myself. Im glad I did! It's a bit different waiting in the car instead of a waiting room but I'm glad they put saftey first. We did not wait long at all either!

Dr. Eidson is amazing. Her and her staff were central I'm my family moving past the loss on our young Cane Corso due to epilepsy. We love this family of professionals!

I have gone here for years and my granny went here with her fur baby years before me. I love the way they treat my babies. They will always treat and check on my pups.

Dr.Mark, Dr. Lori & staff are professional, friendly, accommodating & compassionate even while facing the challenges of the current pandemic! We have complete confidence in our decision to entrust Lizzy & Ralphie’s veterinary care into the very capable hands of the team at Bypass Animal Clinic!

If I could give this animal clinic 6 stars I would, friendly staff, affordable prices, and always advises what is best for your animal. I am new to the area and needed a Vet for my new puppy, this location was suggested to me by a local friend and I thanked them ever since. My puppy is happy and healthy thanks to their care during his check ups while he was a puppy. Can't wait to go back for his yearly checkup, he will be a full adult then and I'm sure he'll be happy to see them.

This was my first trip to this clinic but they welcomed my cat with open arms. All of the staff were very friendly. Dr. Mark Walls was super nice and explained everything very well. Definitely had the locally owned feel that you don’t get from larger clinics. Will definitely be my go to clinic from now on.

I love the staff at by-pass! They are so good to me and my cat every time we go and they are very transparent with their prices. There are no hidden fees and they take their time to answer your questions. It is super quick with an appointment! Even if you walk in for a sickness with your pet and have to wait for a doctor to be available, they are very nice and it is not a horrible wait. I will never take my cat to a different vet!

Very good vet to take your dog to. They very good with working with them. The staff there are all very polite and friendly and helpful. My dog Rusty allways gets treated very very well !

They are amazing with my baby Pringles, they distract him during his shots so he doesnt cry (I cry more than he does). They're decently priced and very friendly staff. Thanks for taking care of my baby!

The staff and Dr. Eidson have always been great in taking care of Anne Bonny and giving me useful advice on her health and care. Everyone has been professional and compassionate.

Bypass Animal clinic, Dr Wall , and now Dr Edison. Have been my vets since 1997 when I moved to Richmond. They have always given the best care to my dogs starting with Rocky a Dalmatian Lab mix all the way through Gracie and Cooper the newest additions (Yorkie and little blond dog that we found). I have never had an experience that I questioned. I have had 3 dogs with chronic illnesses and they were never afraid to walk through the door. I feel like their pricing is very fair. Other vets in the surrounding area have much higher prices. And I feel that I was given the best advice on diagnostics, whether or not they were needed.

Yes I have lost some of my best friends over the years but the care they received with these veterinarians was excellent! I am so thankful for them and all of their staff. I live in Frankfort now but will continue to make the drive for my fur babies!

They were so good with my jack Russell dog! He is a rescue dog and had been abused in the past so he doesn't like new people. But they won him over on our first visit. Amazing!! Really professional as well as caring staff.

I had worries about bringing my anxious cat in for her check up and the staff were very friendly and understanding! I was in and out quickly and felt comfortable enough to schedule another appt for a teeth cleaning (: just in my brief visit I could tell the staff truly care for their pet clients!

I recently moved to Richmond, and needed a vet to take a stray cat we took in to. I cannot say enough great things about my first visit here. Everyone is very sweet and compassionate, and Dr. Lori treated my pet like her own. Unfortunately we got some bad news about my kitty, but she and the staff were very empathetic and reassured me it was still possible for my pet to live a long, healthy life. I highly recommend them and we will to continue to come her for my kitty's care.
