Vermette's Super Market

Nice little market for a small shop. Meats are nice quality at low prices. Just started making breakfast sandwiches and keeping them up front my cash registers. All the cashiers are nice but Rory really stands out. Just efficient but a genuine person. I do enjoy that there’s a select few dairy free brands in store as well. Very accessible!

Superior quality of everything they sell, stock etc, tremendous meat department and deli and everyone there is so nice and genuine and it's a throw back to the good ol days, 10 out of 10

Usually always has the "missing ingredients" I always tend to forget to buy while grocery shopping. MOST cashiers are always upbeat and in great moods- it seems.

Such a gem! I love the selection offered here - everything from the least expensive brands to many local and artisan options. They have almost anything you’d need and more. They have essentially a full liquor store, plus a tempting array of craft beer, and I love the local flower bouquets! Truth be told, sometimes it smells in there and that can be very off-putting to first timers. Push past it! You’ll be fine.

People are always friendly, they keep the store clean. It smells so good of home cooked food. The meats & products are fresh, good place to shop.

Great products. Convenient. Short lines. Excellent meats (deli or refrigerated meats). Prices higher end, yet worth it for quality and convenience. Also nice pre-made products. Thank you Vermette's for being a friendly community market!

Always have what I need and always great prices

Kind service from local market. Unfortunately the deli has been down at times, however the store continues support local based community and with Maine and NH basic necessities, this store is Gem of traditional style service and handicapped doors entrance provide an opportunity to continue to support our local farms living on the east coast!:)

Such a convenience as a convenient store should be.
Their in store made pasta salads and desserts are phenomenal!!
You pay a little extra as expected.
But so nice to have a place so local with a super friendly staff!!

Glad this store has survived and thrived. Local little grocery store with a great selection of products. Their meat prices are good and always fresh. We are here 5+ times a week to grab things for dinner or lunch. I'd say a majority of the prices here beat S&S and some are comparable to the Basket. The employee's here are super friendly and helpful.

Love this place! Been coming here since the womb and its spoiled any other meat for me, because nothing can compare to this places butchery! And I love the chicken salad they have here! Fair prices and an easy grab and go location for a quick lunch or necessity!

Vermette's is truly a gem for the City of Amesbury. Their staff is always friendly and accommodating. They always have what you need and is one of the last places around here that you can order your steaks to be cut the way you like them. Keep up the great work guys!

Great local family market! Excellent Deli, Freshest meats and produce around; small and 'do-able' for folks that can't do four miles of aisles! The help is what makes it too - GREAT bunch of kids and neighbors as 'the Help'!🙏💖
