As a single female home owner for 27 years, AIS has been my go to for all my DIY projects & home repairs.... hinges, spray paint, exterior paint, fans, nail, screws, carpet cleaner machine, .... you name it, they have it (or will order it for you).

Anything you can think of, this place usually has. Especially when it comes to hard to find nuts/bolts. They have an impressive Grade 8 fine bolt selection upstairs

Extremely helpful and resourceful! If you can't find it on the shelf (or can't figure out what you are looking for), just ask - they'll scour the stock room for it. Have only ever been surprised at how little (not how expensive) the parts I've bought there!!

It is a cool hardware store that has been there since 1983 and is in a historic Mill building. Great store!

I've been here 4-5 times and each time was fantastic. They have a great selection of products, big space and very friendly.

They are so helpful. As a woman, I have never felt like the people working here are talking down to me like at Home Depot or Lowe's.

Keep an eye for their strange weekend hours. If you're working on a home project on a weekend just make sure you get in Saturday morning because they're closed in the afternoon and on Sunday.

The staff here is extremely helpful! Call for questions ahead of time to confirm your needs can be satisfied with what’s in stock and upon arrival they’ll help you find what you need.
I work in construction and constantly stop by here when local! There is 4 floors of endless supplies and the atmosphere inside is truly amazing it’s like time traveling where there’s a one stop shop for all your working needs!

This place is awesome! They have pretty much everything you need, and if they don't they will let you know where else you can go to get it. No pushy sales people, very polite and helpful and the prices can't be beat.

This is the best Hardware supply house I've ever been in. I go here first for several reasons. First, the counter guys are wonderful, and will help you get just what you need. They will even supply an answer to your question. There is a very extensive inventory, of every part, gadget, and screw you could possibly need. They also have quality tools that you can rely on. I like to support local businesses, rather than big box stores so this is my first stop.
