Bamboo House Buffet

Solid 5 stars because this is a small building, and it still offers so much! 3 of us for lunch on a Saturday with 3 drinks came to 35.00. Reasonable and the food delicious! Fresh, clean, ambience is restful. I am wheat, peanut, msg intolerant and after 15 years of eating here i have never had a reaction. No msg here, unlike so many american places that i will never eat at again. I recommend the mei fun (stir-fried rice noodle), crab rangoon, hot and sour soup, general tso, mushroom shrimp, chicken broccoli. Yes, there are small cakes and macaroons as well, but i did not eat those, Im too full!

The food here is the BEST! My family always wants to come here when visiting out of state, it's the best they can find they say!! Only downside is that seating is limited. But I truly believe that's ones reason why this place is so fresh, good, and clean!

Such a great restaurant, if you live in Anderson or the surrounding area you have to come out and try this place out! Way better food than any other Chinese restaurant in the area. You won’t regret coming out, and I promise you will be back! I know I will!!

Food is always great. It’s not a huge buffet but what they have is really good and they keep it stocked. Never gotten anything that tasted old or was cold. Been quite a few time will continue to go.

The place doesn’t look like much from the road, and it was truly hard to find yet it was worth the trouble. There is no atmosphere to speak of, it’s bench seats with a few tables separate. Smallish inside with one row of food in the buffet but every dish was a winner! I’ve traveled around the world and the USA so I know good Chinese food. Don’t pass up a chance to eat here! I will be taking a trip back to this town solely for the purpose of eating here again.

While the selection is limited, I will drive an hour out of my way just to eat here. They actually care that all of the food they serve tastes amazing. I can not recommend eating here enough. I've never had a bad experience here, and my entire family loves it too.

Very good food. I had 3 plates. Tried everything it was delicious.

General tso's could be better seems like most places have changed the sauce recipe and idk why... highly recommend the pepper chicken and the honey chicken.

I love it here. The food reminds me of home and it is always fresh and very good.

Staff is always very friendly. I've only been once when food wasn't super great but it was close to closing time so can't blame them for not putting out all new food. Any other time I've been food has been very good and fresh! Very clean restaurant.

Me and my family love this place, we go as often as we can. The only issue we had are the potatoes are always very very salty. Besides that it's a wonderful place with great people ☺

I called in a order an when I got there they had gave my order away it was odd that someone had ordered the exact same thing as me an they were confused as well so they remade it an didn't charge me for my egg rolls which wasn't expected but very nice of them. It was complete accident and I understand that however this was our first time coming to this place so even tho that happened they were very nice, they remade my food in about 10 minutes and gave me a discount. The food was very good the place was clean as well.

Very friendly cashier gets you right inside the door. He was quick and accurate. Restaurant is small but clean and tidy. The food was GREAT!!! We definately will go back again!! So glad we tried it!!!
