Great food, reminds me of a little diner my husband and I worked in as teens. They have different specials most days of the week and we haven't had anything we didn't like. The waitress is awesome, very fast, attentive and seems to know all the regulars.

Been the same for ever. Food is good, place is clean, you can see how they are making your food. Enjoyed it.

When you want breakfast where the locals hang out this is your place. Bring your cash as that is the required form of payment. Oh, and get the Goetta, it is really good here.

My coworkers and I ate here before the solar eclipse. There was a nice fun crowd there eating really good food.!!

Hobo Hut was a nice little down home, home town restaurant. The service was great and the food was good. The best part was the homemade pie omg, it was heated up good and warm with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream!!! I ate that first! Then we had their baked cod, another side, tossed salad and mock turtle soup (it was actually made out of chicken), it was good😋

Great little diner! Good food and prices. The ladies that work there are incredibly kind. They sent my husband home with lemon meringue pie and he was so happy!
Bring cash. No credit. Didn't leave a great tip because we were unprepared. We'll stop back the next time we drive through Batesville!

Small country type diner. Great food! Really good prices for today's world! Would recommend to anyone. Just fyi, they only take cash.

We stopped here to grab some lunch. Food was amazing server was super nice and polite loved the tenderloin and the slaw was some of the best I've had in a long time. 10 out 10 will visit again

My husband and I stopped here after early church on Sunday morning because they serve lunch all day in addition to thier breakfast menu.
I had a the tenderloin sandwich which comes with cole slaw and fries.
The tenderloin and fries could have been fried a tad longer to make them crispier but it was still very good. I put the creamy coleslaw on my sandwich.
I'm pretty picky about my coleslaw and it was awesome!
My husband had the Hobo lunch special, which is a double hamburger with coleslaw and french fries. He also was disappointed about the soft french fries but he said the hamburger was really good!
Very nice waitresses and service. We will go back!

Small establishment, but very delicious! The goetta is amazing! You may not know what it is, but highly recommended! The service was great! Make sure to bring cash for this is a cash only placea If you don't have cash a convenient bank is right next door!

Great atmosphere good people. I was a bit short on the money at the register (I had more in my truck) and the waitress said in the most sincere way. Don't worry I will cover it for you. ❤ I went straight out and got the rest and a good tip.

Great food! Great service! Great people! Great prices! It's been our favorite for years! It's a family run restaurant and you couldn't ask for a better family. They are a very close family. It's great to see generations working together so closely. They always pull together to get the job done. Great food and they always make me feel like part of the family! It's a step back in time and it is wonderful in every way. In today's world it's very comforting. The food, family, and friendship alway makes the day that much better. Thanks gals.

Such a cute restaurant! Very clean! I took the very nice waitress's recommendation and got the blt and it was awesome, they should label it as a double decker blt! My husband had the pizza burger and loved it! The fries were crispy and fresh! Only thing is they are cash only so I had to go next door to the ATM at the bank, no big deal.

After driving past this place several times, I finally decided to give it a try. Well that was several times ago now. No complaints here. Hasn't disappointed me yet. Service was excellent as always. I've only ever seen one waitress in there and she does a fantastic job. The menu has lots of options for whatever your feeling like. From eggs to whatever. Prices are good too. Good food served with a smile.
