Great spot! The kids love it! Lots to do and experience. The young lady on duty is helpful and super nice. If you're in the park, stop by!

Gorgeous trails to go visit. Ranging from easy and short - longer + more rugged terrain and everything in between. Patoka is a wide arrange of things offering all types of fun activities from a large beach/lake, winery, brewery, and now overnight stays in cabins and hotel like buildings, campgrounds, nature center with wildlife and education about native animals and history of the land. Here our some pictures of the trail a friend and I hiked.

My wife and I took a 3 mi hike. The trail needs a little bit of work. There were some place where we weren't quite sure which way the path went. But we did not get lost & enjoyed the hike.

Love this State Park and plan to come back when we can stay longer. Large beach area (including a nice changing facility), plenty of picnic tables, interesting Nature Center, and beautiful walking and bike trails. Learn about the Explore Program and State Park pins. It can enhance your park experience. Hope you find this park as fun as we did!

Neat little place. The trails are closed until April 1st. Call before you go. It was still a nice visit walking around the center and seeing the eagles nest.

5 amazing trails start from the Nature Center. If you're looking for something different not far from the lake, this place has some amazing hidden gems.
It is part of the Indiana parks, you get in for free with the pass. Otherwise it's $7 at the gate, $10 for out of state.

The entry fee is whatever you need to pay to be in the park. The actual nature center there is no admission cost. Live animals are able to be viewed and there some historical displays that are very interesting. The staff is very knowledgeable and willing to answer your questions.

This place is amazing so many great trails and activities to do, bathrooms are great, all staff were friendly, large area to roam. lots of places to visit, French lick is close by, can't go wrong with this place campsites were spaced out just enough. Cant wait to go back and spend more than a day in a half there so much more to explore.
