The Ice Cream Bar

My wife and I were driving around NJ when we came across this little Ice Cream Shop. We stopped in and had a quick bite. Well, this was a fantastic stop. I'm not sure how they made it, but it seemed all homemade. Their coconut ice cream was like no other, this was literally coconut ice cream. Not vanilla ice cream with coconut flavor and flakes. The coffee cups as a delivery for the ice cream was fabulous. They scooped then layered toppings, then scooped and layered 3 times for a large......OMG.......absolutely great. Unfortunately, it was too good to take photos. We will be back!

Loved it here! Came with my friends and they have a bunch of cute little games and a nice seating area. The server was patient with us while we took time to decide our flavors and gave us samples to try! Would highly recommend this place!

If your travels take you near Delanco NJ you should check out The Ice Cream Bar. It’s small independent businesses like this that play a critical role in their local communities. They provide top-notch service, create jobs, give back to others, and so much more. They are truly the bedrock of our economy. It doesn’t hurt that their ice cream is yummy. Eloise and Marley 🐾 love their adorable pup cups! No matter how long the line the staff are patient and professional. I truly have enjoyed every visit!

I'm do glad to finally have an ice cream spot close to home! The portions are generous, and the ice cream tastes delicious! And the service is top notch too. We're definitely coming back!

Best ice cream & flavor choices around! I wish the owner had purchased the Meadows on 130 after it closed bc I would be there every day! Please, please, please don't close for winter!

I absolutely love this ice cream place. 🍦 they have a comfy couch with some games to pass the time. They have so many great flavors. They were very patient with my 2 year old and gave her a sample to see if she would like the ice cream she chose. It was cookie monster and it was "Alicious" as she said. But overall the workers there were very kind and they seemed to love it there and it Definitely shows through there service. If I could give it 10 stars I would.

I didn't have any expectations going in, besides eating ice cream I guess. I ordered banana ice cream & peanut butter ice cream. The ice cream itself was creamier & just tasted better than any ice cream that I've had... & w/several ice cream spots within 15 min from me, I've had them all. Besides the long list of ice cream flavors, the list of topping choices was equally as long (if not longer), and included some that I've never even saw before! I noticed that they also have water ice, soft serve, AND GRAPE SODA! Also, the staff was super friendly & personable. So, starting out w/no expectations, this place just raised my expectations for any other ice cream place that I may go to... Though unless I'm out of town & find myself in some kind of emergency ice cream jam, I don't know if I'll be going to many other ice cream places after finding this spot!

Definitely my favorite ice cream stop. The staff are friendly and provide exceptional customer service ( I don’t waste time or money on bad service). Then for the whip cream and cherry on top 👀 they carry my favorite flavor of pralines and cream 🤤

Wow.....just WOW!!! This place was great and they serve Bassett's Ice Cream, which is among the best. The young ladies behind the counter were super friendly and great at what they do.
My lone piece of advice: hit a MAC machine, since they are cash only....oh, and the shakes are to die for.

This is the cutest little shop. Service is always friendly, place is clean, and the ice cream is so good! Love that they always have a variety of new flavors to try.

I live a couple blocks away from here. The ice cream is typical ice cream and the water ice is what you would expect. But the people behind the counter are what make this place special. They work so hard to make their dream a reality and that is why the hot fudge sundae are so satisfying. I absolutely love it!

The ice cream and customer service is great!
It's cute and a nice place to get ice cream since it's right next to the promenade where you can take a stroll with your loved ones or friends and look at cute houses, little animals running around and a nice view of the river.

Some of the best ice cream we have ever had, good portions, atmosphere like an old time ice cream parlor, and great service. It's easy to get to and is open till 9 p.m.. We go a lot!

This is a GREAT small business! We just descended on the place with a Boy Scout troop and families (about 30 people total) and they handled us like total professionals. Excellent product, served with a smile by a friendly staff!

Always an amazing selection of 15 plus flavors, water ice, shakes and soft serve too! A cute clean quiet little shop with speedy service and amazing taste! Recommend best in the area!
