AMAZING! Is the first word I think of after going here.

Food - 11 out of 10. Absolutely amazing!

Service - 11 out of 10. Carolyn was amazing, from explaining everything about the menu and specials to explaining the behind the scenes of how things are homemade and local mostly.

Full bar, also a special place within the building you need to ask about 😁.

Enjoy!

See my video for 2 if their specials Stuffed Flounder and Braised beef shank over homemade papadele pasta.

We had no plan to stop here, but we're glad we did. We came at prime dinner time, and we didn't have to wait to be sat. Our server was busy she just got two big parties but took the time to tell us she would be a few minutes. I'm in the industry, so I appreciated that and understood. I took her recommendation on the beef spare rib special...oh lord, I was glad I did. The beef was so tender, and the portion size was amazing. We also had French onion soup, which was delicious and side caesar. My husband had chicken parm with pasta but kept eyeing up my dish....I did share.
DONT SKIP DESSERT!
Their peanut pie was soooo good. We didn't realize how good till we got home and ate it. We regret not just getting the whole pie, which they sell.

What a neat place. Had dinner with family we hadn't seen in a while and took a chance on Rocco's. Glad we did! Friendly staff. Great tasting food. Menu definitely has a variety of food options. ( Need to go back and sample some other food choices). In the middle of town but they have parking directly across from the restaurant. There's a bar downstairs (which we didn't have a chance to visit). Casual. Noisy. Go there.

My husband and I love Rocco's. The special tonight-pork in a fig sauce with polenta was delish!

I had my sons graduation dinner party here. It was fantastic! Everyone was very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. The food was exceptional. My guests raved about their dinners. I highly recommend Rocco’s and will be back very soon for dinner!

Since we relocated from Hammonton our visits to Roccos have not been as frequent as before.
We were there this evening with two other couples and I am very happy to say the place is better, if that is possible!! The meatballs and gravy were outstanding!! My wife got the fresh turkey dinner, as did three of our friends. Again outstanding!! Overall a great experience!! Next time we are in town we are there!
Dave & Steve keep up the great work!

Pros: They have a lot going for them. Not my first review. Food is tasty no matter what you get , but the rooster fries are a must if you like spicy, cheesy and not watching what you are eating. Burgers are very good here, and are more reasonably priced. Staff is great to talk to and locals are friendly who come. Their Whiskey bar downstairs is a must , for the experience, and occasionally artist playing. Best selection of whiskey in South Jersey. Big open downstairs for events etc. Greg is awesome at what he does down there.

Cons: prices are slightly higher than they need to be. It's great food , but not fine dining. The menu is very limited. The whiskey bar downstairs is only open at certain times and days. The parking is ok, but very tight, fills quickly on a Friday night. Wish they opened the full menu downstairs, they don't let you order anything other than appetizers. The up stairs bar doesn't have the same ingredients to make drinks you want, a little disappointing.

All and all , highly recommend going here with some friends or family. And suggest coming in the fall winter time , much more relaxing.
I'm Beef and that's where I was and where I go when I can and have enough money:).

First visit was very pleasurable.,

From the moment we entered, we were greeted by attentive staff. One of the two owners; Steve who took our name and put us on the list for seating. The wait was 20 minutes, but he never forgot we were waiting and in roughly 10 minutes we were seated.

Our server; Amy, a bubbly, outgoing, happy person answered my complex questions and even gave rock solid accurate suggestions on the best faire of the day. Everything that she suggested was a 10. She was so attentive and flexible it was a very relaxed experience.

We had a beet and feta salad. It was excellent complimented by the high quality extra olive oil and 'Tale of the Olive's' Sicilian lemon balsamic vinegar.

The main course was sliced short ribs on medium shell mac and cheese. The meat was exquisite, it melted in my mouth. The meat had homemade barbeque sauce on it. I would recommend that you have the BBQ sauce on the side.

Dessert was coconut cream pie baked on premises by Billy, the resident baker and blackboard artist extraordinaire. The pie was excellent.

Rocco's Town House is an unimposing jewel hidden just off off Main St in Hammonton, NJ. I highly recommend it.

Great place with vibrant atmosphere, excellent food and fantastic beer list. Really enjoyed last two times there. Equilibrium on tap pretty rare to find that one.

Top 5 in Hammonton, wish more food items were just the exact item ordered not dolled up to taste like bacon, a great steak should taste like a great steak, not cheese;. Go here often for variety but finding else where to be more competitive.
