Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Kansas City Belton

If you are looking for a hotel in the Kansas City metro: stay here. Don't waste your time with fancy, boutique hotels in downtown Kansas City. The Fairfield Inn & Suites is south of Kansas City and offered the perfect spot to stay the night but still be close to Kansas City. It's right off the interstate, so very convenient, and near to many restaurants, multiple Starbucks, a Target, HyVee, etc.

My boyfriend and I had a late check-in and we were able to arrange this ahead of time with the hotel. Once we arrived, we were met with kindness by the front desk clerk after a long day of traveling. Check-in was easy and quick, and we were able to get to our very clean and modern room with ease.

The lobby is super nice. Three elderly friends bought a bottle of wine from the front desk and were catching up in the lobby as we were checking in. The vibes were just right.

The room was nice and compact. Sometimes you get hotel rooms that are just entirely too big. This room was just the right amount of cozy. The bed was nice, the carpet was clean, and the furnishings were modern with a cozy feel. (I especially loved the blinds on the window that featured an autumn leaf motif. It added to the cozy vibes.)

The bathroom was also very nice, and had a nice larger shower and large vanity. The staff had also made a rose out of toilet paper and placed it on top of the toilet paper next to the toilet. Such a sweet touch.

In the morning before we departed, I stopped by the fitness center on the first floor and was shocked at how big it was compared to other hotel gyms. The treadmill was nice and new, the weight bench was clean, and there was a beautiful selection of weights to choose from.

It's between a lot of stores and other stores are not far away. Close to the highway several different ways to the highway. Breakfast was okay. The set up was nice and organized. Everyone was friendly.

This was a big surprise! Beautiful hotel, perfectly located, spacious room and bathroom, and a super-outstanding, very-helpful friendly staff. We stayed two nights.

I had to call for questions due to bringing an infant to this location. I spoke with Jasmine at the front desk and she was super accommodating and friendly. Honestly, I did not expect this level of customer service and it was a breath of fresh air. Thank you Jasmine, and keep doing you.

We were in Kansas City for the weekend to visit friends and family. We have decided to use the Marriott brand for the next couple years. We selected this property roughly a month ago, and decided to revisit them. We were not disappointed!
Some of the little touches was bottled water at the front entrance all day long and snacks at the front desk in the evening.
I can’t say enough good about this property.
The desk staff were always welcoming, polite, and helpful. They serviced our room daily! (There policy is every other day, however, if you ask, they will service the room every day. ).
The hot breakfast was delightful with the mix of standard fare, plus hot oatmeal, eggs, breakfast meats, and packaged breakfast sandwiches. The coffee pots were always full and the staff were always quick to address any issues.

First off this is a great property. Clean, modern and just very nice. However, I did find it to be overpriced but considering the options you have they really have a monopoly on a nice lodging.

When I leave a review I base my review on safe location, good AC/Heat, Hot Water, Good Pillow/Bed and Price. The location felt very safe, we had very good AC, lots of hot water, the bed was very soft as well as the pillows and the price was OK. When it comes to the price it is crazy for Belton, Mo but it is a very nice property.

Breakfast is somewhat standard but they do have some twist that will add some variety that those road warriors who will greatly appreciate it. Plenty of seating as well.

As for a fitness center this is one of the nicer ones. Free weights, treadmills, elliptical and space for a yoga mat.

Since I have listed lots of good things I am going to list some things that I didn't care for. Our room was on the NE corner of the 2nd floor. All night I heard what sounded like a semi truck moving across a parking lot then slowing down then speeding back up. The only thing I can see is the electrical boxes so I am not sure exactly what it was. Also, the TV controller was a pain for doing anything, you really had to be straight in front of the TV and still then it was difficult. The refrigerator in the room was half a mini so left overs or travelling with a family that has lots of food and snacks will be limited. Finally, when we arrived we noticed a strong men's after shave smell in the lobby we figured it was just the guy at the little snack shack since it cleared up as we went to the elevator. However, the hallway to our room we still smelled it pretty strongly. Better than a flowery spray but just something we noticed.

Overall this is a great property and I would have no problem staying here again and will when are in the area.

First I want to say this place is clean cozy and the staff is very helpful, nice and accommodating. We checked in late due to a late flight. They had a nice little "market" area that was greatly needed since all restaurants were closed at that time. In the morning the breakfast had a number of choices, a very good selection. We were in town due to a funeral. Our flight was in the late afternoon. We asked if we could have a possible extra late check out so we could at least shower and change clothes after the service before we got back on the plane. Samantha was so kind to let us. And even asked if we needed extra towels. That was above and beyond for us. I am from this area, every time I visit family this is where I will do my business. I can't stress how grateful and appreciative I am for Samantha being so accommodating. I definitely highly recommend.

Good spot just outside Kansas City. Nice,clean rooms, friendly staff.

My job required me to stay in a hotel for the last 11 months through the week. After staying at two competitors in the area, I found this hotel. The Management and Staff have been wonderful as I have stayed 120 nights between 4/1/21 and 9/24/21. The rooms are clean. Service is friendly. And breakfast through the pandemic was good. My time will be up next week and I couldn't have made it through this project without this hotel. Thank you all!

Such a nice hotel, and wonderful staff. I stayed this past week for 3 nights. The in-room coffee was very good, the bed was so comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was very good. There's also washing machines available. Everything was nice. I will go to see my family in Kansas City more often, knowing I can book a room here in the future. So clean too!

This was my absolute favorite hotel I've stayed in. And I've stayed in many between vacation and weekend trips with my husband. I loved the selection of breakfast food. The room and the whole hotel was in fabulous condition; I believe it's new so that makes sense. I've never rated anything before but I knew this hotel deserved it. I would stay here again and again!! Hands down the best place especially for the price! Such friendly staff, very clean rooms, and they even upgraded our room which we really appreciated. 👍🏻❤

Stayed here with our kids for a long weekend and loved every part of it. The service and quality of the hotel is 5-star worthy. I would highly recommend staying here if you're in the area or considering visiting the awesome fall festivities in and around town.

Fabulous hotel. Well worth the price. Room spacious and comfortable. Bathroom huge with large shower. This would be perfect for handicap because of open space and shower with seat and grab bars. Very impressed. Haven't tried breakfast yet.

The young lady at the front desk was super friendly and breakfast was tasty. The rooms were clean and comfortable and well stocked with towels, toiletries, etc.. I would definitely recommend staying here next time you're in town!!

Great rooms. A bit pricey.

Upon arrival I was very impressed with the decor of this Bonvoy hotel. I'm a mid-century modern enthusiast and loved every aspect of the decor. The desk person was very pleasant and even upgraded me to a suite. The mattress was the best I've slept on in years. I have a very firm Temperpedic and this was soft and very plush, I slept like a rock! Rooms were very comfortable and there was continental breakfast which I didnt get to enjoy. I was back home for a death in the family. I stayed here for 3 days and would HIGHLY recommend this hotel. I give it

Customer service was great. Everything was extremely clean. The TVs are smart tvs, so you can watch Netflix, prime, etc... my kids really loved that. Lots of food options nearby, the little store in the hotel has good convenience food options, beer and liquor. My favorite hotel on our week long road trip.
