Yes, the hours are limited and not so convenient for a convenience store. Yes, the selection isn't as large as a grocery store. However, I think this bodega is exactly what it needs to be. Excellent customer service, every time. It has the supplies you need when in a pinch. Today I thought I'd give the coffee shop side a try. I never see anyone working that counter, so I wasn't sure if it was open. The gentleman running the convenience counter, ran over to the coffee side and made me a delightful shot of espresso and a very delicious chai latte. And it was very affordable! Meanwhile, the line at the convenience counter starts to grow. The gentleman never made me feel rushed and handled the line very effectively. I am very pleased with my experience, as I am everytime I shop here. Great place, do shop here!

They had something on the shelves that looked like fish bait. It was actually like a bacon jerky. Looked like catfish bait tho.

Rather than a run-of-the-mill convenience store, this quaint corner shop gets the job done. The hours are shorter than that of convenience stores; however, it is to be understood as their primary customer is the urban downtown resident or daytime businessman. Though the selection is small, management knows urban lifestyle and many of the expected necessities can be found here. I've purchased frozen ground beef, milk and juice, cereal, soups, and toiletries, as well as the common items found in your popular gas station. This isn't a chain supermarket or grocery store, so you can expect a slightly higher bill.
