Kalmes Club 528

You won’t find a place like this in your big cities. No drive through here. From their home made soups that are just like mom makes to the salad bar that could be a meal in it self. The food here is almost as great as the employees. The ownes are there every night. The staff has a flow to it that you could easily for get your at a restaurant. It feels like a great family gathering. You’ll want to back time and time again. Definitely worth the drive

What a wonderful throwback restaurant. It takes you back to supper clubs of the 50's and 60's. Great salad bar with lots of variety. They even had home-made cinnamon rolls and brownies. Our server (Laura-Laurie) was fantastic. My wife and I had the prime rib (excellent!). My sister had the filet mignon and her husband had the ribs. We were all very pleased with the entire experience!

Great old time supper club in cascade Iowa. Prices are reasonable, food is very good. Been eating there for over 5 years and have never had a bad meal. Staff is friendly. Sometimes it takes a while due to being busy. If you haven’t tried it you should.

Took us a while to get our food, but it was packed. Once I got my food, I understood why. Best prime rib I’ve ever had and well worth the wait. Cool old school supper club atmosphere and the prices weren’t to bad. Will certainly be back here many more times to come

I had Smothered Chicken Breast with sweet potato side dish . Was it ever delicious ,love the flavor,get two take home to enjoy next day.Seeet potato side us like candy,yum.Salad very good with a sweet ,different varieties to sample each time.

Great food, great staff. The prime rib was excellent. Try the sweet potato casserole.

The Kalmes Cub 528 was very clean. The employees were very friendly and a waitress was at our table continuously checking to see if we needed anything or picking up plates that were already used. The food was excellent. Will definitely go back and also recommend to people we know to try it.

We've eaten there many times and the food has always been very good and the salad bar and mixed drinks were a pleasant experience. Over all we are more than satisfied.

Stopped and had the most excellent shrimp ever, my lady friend had fried cod, it was the best in the area as well. I highly recommend 528 club

An excellent family ran restaurant. Good food, friendly staff. I had their shrimp scampi, it was ever tastie.

Great salad bar. Large cat fish. With a well done bakes potato. Will not have to eat until Thursdays. lol

Reasonably priced, delicious meal. Highly recommend the noodles as a side & the salad bar is fresh with homemade salads.
