I am from Chicago and was traveling to Cascade IA on a weekend family camping trip. 20 miles away my cars engine just completely stopped while driving on the back country roads. I had no idea where to have my car towed to but a waitress as well as a nearby friend told us to take it to Lyon's. We had the tow truck drop it in their parking lot after hours and left a note on the windshield. In the morning we called and were relieved to talk to Randy who was extremely friendly and helpful. Randy was willing to squeeze us into his already busy schedule that day and determine if it was repairable. After diagnosing the problem he was honest that the engine was not repairable and did not charge us for diagnosing the problem. Randy also gave us the information for someone who was interested in purchasing the car for parts. Thank you for being flexible and patient as we determined what to do with our car.
