My family and I had a fantastic dinner. We enjoyed our appetizer and pizza. Our pizza was hot and fresh. My martini was delicious, I would definitely order it again. We ordered dessert and coffee(best dessert ever) . Our waitress was friendly and helpful. I will totally visit again soon.

Wish they didn't upcharge $2.25 for the vodka sauce on my chicken parm, but it was 100% worth it. The meal was absolutely delicious and a good portion.

Fyi, the meal does not come with a salad.

I know that this review is truly not needed because everybody has spoken loudly here about how amazing the food is. I have to say I’ve been here two times and I have to keep going back the food is that amazing. I love this place for sure you won’t be let down if you buy their food.

Very pretty, love the food my pasta had a lot of sauce if you don’t like sauce should definitely order with butter 10/10

Fantastic family run restaurant with an amazing Prime Rib....almost 3" thick. Ask to be seated in Matt's section. He's a pro!

I am so impressed. Came for dinner upon a recommendation and will definitely be back. I had a reservation and my table wasn’t ready when I arrived. I had to wait maybe 5 minutes and the manager was so apologetic. When we sat at our table, our waitress immediately brought us a comped appetizer for our wait. Our waitress, Sheri, was amazing and so attentive, the food was so delicious and good sized portions. Looking forward to returning.

Driven by many times but never knew if it was handicap accessible..Decided let's just try it. I'm so glad we did. There are three options for seating. Outside,bar,and dining area. We chose the dining area. Was seated. Menu had lots of options. I chose Chicken Piccata, and my boyfriend chose a 6 cheese pasta dish. Waitress was very engaging and catering. We really enjoyed our food and the entire experience. Meals came with vegetables. Soup or salad and bread. Very warm, crusty Italian bread. Super yummy. Great night. Everyone from beginning to end was fantastic. As we left, the hostess asked how we liked our meals and opened the door for us. It's the little things that make you feel so welcome. It's totally a redo place
This restaurant closed down for a bit to renovate. After reopening, I couldn't wait to see what was done with the place. Just beautiful inside and more seating. The food was still as good, and the service was outstanding.

The meals are delicious, and the pizza is out of this world,I love the clams casino pie. Another favorite is a pepperoni and sausage light sauce with extra cheese. All of their dishes are delicious . I'm discovering that I like their pizza sauce better than their others, but that's just me. They have great house cocktails as well as bar specials. My only complaint is that their rib roast isn't prime grade.I would rather spend a few more dollars and get an exception meal. Their rib roast is delicious, but it could be better if they complimented their wonderful seasoning and great cooking method with the appropriate grade of beef. Five stars and high recommended.

This place is a hidden gem. The food is delicious 😋 and they use local small businesses for the ingredients they use. Everything is made from scratch. Even their bread is out of this world. This is a great place to take your family for dinner, grab apps and drinks with friends and also perfect for a romantic date night. I just found this place months ago and they said they just did a renovation. Its just beautiful in there. The staff are very friendly and all dressed neat and clean. It adds to the whole style. The best part is that this place is family owned and they all work together. The photos they have on the wall you can see their generations grow and how some of them work there with the rest of their family. Like I said earlier I just found this place like 2 months ago and I've ordered out 3 times and eaten in twice and everytime the food is amazing. One time I ordered out and the order was wrong and they refunded me the money, remade the dish and gave us $5 off coupons to return. And I didn't even make a fuss about it. It just really shows you how much they value their customers and take pride in their business. This is how all restaurants should run. We will definitely be returning.

This is a takeout review. All food is eaten promptly in the vehicle. I had garlic bread, meatballs, and Chicken Leonardo. The garlic bread was nicely done, very saturated with the garlic butter. The meatballs were large and very packed. They had nice flavor from the marinara but were quite rubbery to chew. The chicken dish was extremely tasty with a nice touch of heat. I thoroughly enjoyed it. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 8.2.

This was our first visit to Luigi’s even though it’s been in Old Saybrook for 30 years. We sat at the bar and were pleasantly surprised at the cocktail selection. The menu is expansive and we talked to some locals which dine in on a regular basis. The atmosphere is cozy and they had live music too. Definitely a keeper. Great bartender too 😊

My wife and I dined here for the first time. We were greeted by the owner - nice gentleman and were seated promptly. The food was fantastic and the service was great. Very friendly staff and very reasonable prices. I had the lobster ravioli and it was the best I've ever had. We are going back next week. I highly recommend this place.

Another great dinner experience as always...Jonah was our server in only his second day, and he served us like a seasoned veteran. Great service, amazing food, and always feel like family.

Food is amazing, service is friendly. Quaint place. The fresh baked bread is phenomenal. It's a take a loaf home kind of place. Pizza is great too.

What an amazing dinner! The penne" alavodka" is one of the best I've ever had. Will definitely make this an Italian night place!!!!!

I was looking for a location to hold my wife’s birthday party and spent some time looking at several restaurants around the Old Saybrook and Essex area, to be convenient for most of the guests. After meeting with several restaurants, I decided to go with Luigi’s. They offered the best overall package and were willing to work with me on all aspects of the occasion.
Nancy the manager, was easy going and helped me and my daughter work through the menu options.
The night of the occasion, we had 26 people for dinner. Victoria and Matt were are servers and bartenders. They never missed a beat. The drinks were served professionally and the appetizers, dinners and desserts, were on time and delicious.
I need to thank the owner Lenny for having the best employees and making our night one to remember.

Overall quite a delishish. My veal was a little disappointing, but maybe my expectations were elevated. The lasagna was very good and the chicken dish was also.
We arrived at 5pm and it was a good thing we did because the place was very busy by 6pm.
I've driven past this restaurant a million times, but this was my first time eating there. Obviously it is a popular place with the local community.
We will be back!

I had a very nice meal with my family here. The food was very good and the portions were large.

Absolutely the best mussels I've ever had. A GENEROUS portion & the pasta was seasoned perfectly. Excellent service, & an immaculate restaurant. We were visiting family & will definitely go there again when we're in the area.

It's a busy big place, kinda family style. Greeting, seating and service was excellent. I gave food a 4 because it was good, but not something out of the ordinary. Drinks were average. I had fettuccine with Parmesan sauce, asked to be light on the sauce, but it was buried with sauce. My husband really enjoy chicken piccata.
