We had them install a new kitchen floor and it is beautiful!! After we pick out the floor we wanted at the store in Simsbury, it was ordered and the materials came in about 2 weeks later. We set up an install date and the installers were punctual, professional and polite. They explained everything they were going to do and finished it about 5 hours later. We are totally satisfied and will use them for all of our flooring needs 👍🏼

I highly recommend Action Carpet in Simsbury. Stephan said he had good guys who would make it easy and manageable and he was right! Alex and David were highly professional and very skilled. They were meticulous and the floors were done quickly and beautifully. Stephan helped me choose the best vinyl for the size and lighting of my space. Communication was excellent and they worked with me to keep it in budget. I can't say enough about the whole experience and would use them again. These are some before and after pictures.

We recently moved to Connecticut, and needed to have very old carpets removed and a new wood floor installed. From the first conversation I had with Kevin, I knew that I could trust his advice and workmanship. We are incredibly pleased with how our kitchen renovation project turned out. We have used large companies like Lowe's to coordinate other/smaller home reno projects, but what we didn't get from them was personal and frequent communication, genuinely personalized consultation, and great playlists from the installation team who was here doing the work! Kevin and his team were incredibly responsive around the clock to texts and emails, and were never pushy when we had questions about affordable products. If we had questions or concerns, they were addressed right away. We were hesitant to inquire with Action Carpet, in fear that they would be more expensive that larger chain stores, but we were pleasantly surprised. In a year where materials and appliances have been backed up for months, they made the process tolerable and remained transparent throughout the whole process— and not to mention their installers were all respectful of the fact that we have family members who work from home while demo/construction was going on! We already have our next project on their calendar! Our family wouldn't hesitate to recommend Action Carpet to anyone looking to upgrade their home. Support small business!

I had a vision for my new house involving a carpet that Kevin didn't carry... in fact, we couldn't find a similar one in the US and had to order it from the UK. He went above and beyond getting it for me, having it cut and bound (it's sisal) to perfectly fit our stairs and upstairs foyer... Thank you, Francisco, who designed the whole layout and installed it! It looks incredible... Couldn't be happier.

Great experience working with Kevin, Stephen and their crew. They recently redid our entire first floor, covering aged hardwood oak with a high quality vinyl flooring, They also added a custom runner and area rugs to our foyer. Their crew was great to work with, too. No mess, arrived exactly when they said they would and finished on time.

Action Carpet did a fantastic job on my new bathroom shower and floor. The tile work that Todd does is better than anyone I’ve seen. They worked to get it completed during a time that was important to me and I was very pleased they could accomplish it then. I would absolutely hire them again!

Recently, Action Carpet & Floor Covering came out to our home to repair a minor (3/8 of an inch or so) burn mark caused by a hot welding tool accidentally placed on the kitchen hardwood floor. The crew that came out was extremely pleasant, and they had the damage repaired in under 30 minutes - repaired so smoothly that you can't tell where the burn mark was.

Would highly recommend them and will use them again if needed!

Action did an awesome job installing some nice new tile and carpet! The employees were kind, great at what they do and got it all done fast! I’ll certainly use them again in the future if I need more work done.

Everyone was very responsive and understanding of our desired end result. We went in shopping on a Saturday, a measurement and estimate were provided on the following Monday. We had the job booked and installed from start to finish in under a month. The room used to have old, ditty carpet and now it's got a beautiful new floor. If I could I’d give Action Carpet 10 stars I would. Great company to work with. We had wood floors installed on our entire first level and a new tile hearth installed. Job went seamless from first in store visit. Very responsive and the quality of wood flooring and quality of craftsmanship was outstanding. Alex and his son installed our floors and he left our home in much better shape than he started. He was meticulous and our new wood floors are stunning. All the support staff were excellent and respectful. Great job and I’m so glad we went with them.

I recently had laminate and carpeting installed in our basement. I had already gotten a quote from one of the big box stores . Action carpet was recommended by a friend and I am so glad that we asked them for a quote also. Stephen was more than friendly and responsive to my MANY questions. The materials came in well before the expected date. The installers, Francisco and Xavier, take great pride in their work. I am very thrilled with the finished project. Action Carpet and Floor Covering recently installed new carpeting in 2 bedrooms, a hallway, and a combined living, den, and dining area. The carpet looks wonderful and was a very good value for the cost. The installation crew did a fantastic job. They were meticulous with the seams, power stretching, and tucking in every single edge under the baseboards at the end of the installation. Plus, they were very respectful and nice to work with. Francisco, the crew leader, took the time to tell me the precautions to keep in mind with berber carpet. Kevin and Karen stayed on top of the project and communicated well throughout. I highly recommend using Action for your flooring needs.

Steve and Kevin from Action Carpet were absolutely great to deal with. They were very professional and finished all the work they were doing on the schedule they gave us. They ripped out the old carpet and sand / refinished the hardwood floors throughout the entire house. They came out absolutely gorgeous. The house looks brand new inside!! We are very very happy with the work that they have done! I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone needing floors done!!

We recently had Tony from Action Carpet strip, wax, and buff our vinyl tile floors. When we built our house 23 years ago, Action Carpet installed wall-to-wall carpet on the second floor and a fabulous black & white vinyl tile floor in the kitchen, two foyers, and a bathroom. It was a demanding job as the tiles were laid diagonally, which presented significant challenges to line up correctly. We have loved the floor. Tony refreshed the floor seven years ago, and his recent refresh brought it back to its original luster. Tony knows his stuff and is very invested in his work. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome. We would highly recommend Action Carpet.

I couldn't be more pleased with my experience with Action Carpet. They called and asked if they could come a day earlier! Of course I said yes! The 2 installers, Tim and Matt couldn't have been more polite and professional! Very nice guys! They put the padding down and then the carpet, they made sure everything was perfect!
