Pocono Soap

Pocono Soap is a small business with a welcoming and helpful staff. My wife was particularly impressed with their candles and purchased one, although it was priced at $14, it was justified by its high-quality scent, and supporting a small business. We decided to visit based on the positive reviews, and the shop offers a variety of gifts, including candles and soaps. Parking can be a bit tricky, but we managed to find paid parallel parking nearby. We definitely plan to return for another visit.

Literally should be a sign on main street promoting this place!! Bought some candles today and they burn so clean, they don't tunnel and no annoying black smoke. Summer In The Poconos is hands down my favorite candle!! The scents are pure and don't smell incredibly artificial. Can't wait to try more products from this gem in town. A++

A very lovely gift shop with great owners. Check out their wide variety of scents especially the white bean cream body and room spray. Highly recommended!

Scentsational soap boutique in the downtown area. Love this store! I can honestly compare it to lush but with much better pricing and top quality. Purchased several bars of soap, hand lotion and a wonderful scarf. Will definitely be going back for more unique presents. Friendly service, was an excellent shopping experience.

5 Stars for the simple fact Beach is the world’s best scent. I want everything I own to smell like Beach. I’d die for the Beach scent. I need it in my car, clothes, home, bedding, everything. I think about it everyday.

A lovely place with so many ideas for gifts. Many flavors, many products (from candles to soaps for you and even your dog). A bunch of colors and smells.

This is a small store full of wonderful scents, not just limited to soap products at reasonable prices. I even found a few scents I hadn't been able to get for a few years and they were potent. People were friendly and very accommodating. I loved it!
UPDATE: Went again, three weeks later. They've decorated the place for Halloween and it looks really cute. I had only planned to buy a couple of soaps but one of my favorite scents was on sale so I had to stock up. My goodness, it's getting so I can't just come to PA without stopping by this place. My son loves it as well and has his own scents he is totally into. What I like the best is that the ingredients are very high quality. The hand butter make my hands extra soft and takes years off of them. The fragrances used in all their body sprays last a good long time. I just wish they dropped their prices on candles, as I would buy more of them. There's a complexion soap that's on my list for my next visit as well as an absolutely perfect wallet. I really enjoy this shop and the people attending you are very accommodating. Love this place! Can't wait to see what surprises are in store the next time I visit. Did I forget to mention jewelry? Some beautiful hanging earrings... I have to stop now. Go and browse, you won't regret it.

We "accidentally" stumbled upon this shop on a day trip to Stroudsburg while in the Poconos. It was in the run-up to the festive season and they had a sale running. My husband and I had a lot of fun picking out soaps - some with funny names ("Monkey Farts" - smelled delightful though). Recently after using store-bought soap, we talked about the wonderful Poconos soap and wondered if it is possible to order it online. It is!! Our (large) selection of soap just arrived and trust me, you want to smell it!! Very happy with the product, ordering process, delivery and a little handwritten note.

I stopped in this past Saturday morning while walking by, and I am so glad that I did. The shop is not just soap, there is jewelry, mugs, stickers, hand butters and more. It's so cozy inside and I love how inviting it is. I was helped by Bianca, who had such a warm energy and really listened to what I had to say. Tina was also very informative and helped me better understand the products. Both women were very calming and kind, and that is rare nowadays. I highly recommend stopping in and experiencing this quaint little shop yourself too. You won't regret it!

Love this place, I found it a few years ago while visiting and go back every time I am in the poconos. I even order online now since I do not get there as often as I’d like to. Super fast shipping and their products always arrive beautifully packaged with a nice personal note!! It’s the little touches that make this place.

Love, love, love this place. The owners are so sweet and helpful. I was looking for a white elephant gift and was trying to stay in budget, they went out of their way to create a bundle and even wrapped it to make it look presentable. Their honey, bath bombs and candles are to die for as well! If you are in the area, just pop in. You won’t regret it!

I went to this shop recently and was pleasantly invited inside by the sweet aromas of all the fragrances & also by an owner of the shop (who was nothing but kind). We purchased a variety of candles and shower steamers- they all smell amazing.

this is by far my most beloved place to purchase body products from. a few years ago when i first stopped in i was completely astonished at how many wonderful products they carry aside from just soap, and everything is homemade and has very minimal ingredients, which i value. they have so many amazing body/room sprays, hand butters, lip balms, bath bombs, lotions, facial oils, cuticle salves, bars of soap, body scrubs etc. all of their scents smell so so amazing and they are one of a kind. i cannot compare this place to lush or bath and body works etc, because they stand out so brightly from the rest. you are getting amazing quality products, made with love and natural ingredients. their scents are seasonal so it's so fun to look forward to their autumn scents, winter/christmas scents etc. they also sell so many little trinkets aside from body products and fragrances. they sell crystals and gemstones, rings, necklaces, bracelets, scarves, fun socks, dog treats/apparel, wellness books, sage, mugs, local honey etc. i am so grateful to have such a wonderful local business i can support and tell others about. so many of my relatives in new york are obsessed with this shop as well and have told their friends about it and they've placed online orders during the pandemic. it makes me so happy to know other people love this shop as much as i do.

I used Pocono Soap as the favors for my sister's bridal shower. I always felt like my questions were being answered and the process was so smooth. I worked closely with Tina regarding scent (I chose Lavender Lemongrass), wrapping, design, and shipping. I went with the Guest Bar size since we needed to order a lot. The soap is such a good "portion" and will be long lasting. I had only wished the soap was shaped differently but that is just a matter of preference. The soap was cut in small but very dense squares as opposed to a bigger but thinner square more representative of a regular bar of soap. That is just me being picky but either way they were beautiful and everyone absolutely loved them!! I would recommend using Pocono Soap for gifts!
