Speckled Hen Coffee

We are a family of 4 (ages 5 and 8) and we loved it!! Best part: a little nook with some toys and books. This made it possible for our kids to play and my husband and I could have a conversation without interruptions! The food was WONDERFUL, all of the staff was lovely, the bathrooms were clean and the decor and atmosphere are awesome. If we ever come back to this area we will definitely be back!!

I hosted my daughter’s bridal shower at The Speckled Hen. They have the most darling room and Tara was amazing to work with. The food was delicious and I received many compliments on it. In fact, my SIL ordered cupcakes and charcuterie boards for a future event. I highly recommend their catering service.

In town for a quick work meeting and needed a quick cup of coffee beforehand. Really wish we had time to order off of their menu, the food looks amazing! We did have a couple of pastries that were delicious. I tried the coconut latte and it did not disappoint! So tasty! Highly recommend. Super cute place!!

This place is great for everything from a pastry and coffee to sit down breakfast and lunch. I always enjoy my coffee and food, both made to perfection! The breakfast potatoes are a must have item. I usually go with my standby two eggs, potatoes, toast, and a meat. I have also had a wide variety of their bowls, which are also great! Very relaxed environment as well!

Granola was yummy and very filling. Bacon was peppered and sweet. My daughter and I don’t usually like pepper, but it wasn’t that spicy.
Parked a block or 2 away, there were 2 tables open when we arrived at 11am on a Sunday.

We did our rehearsal dinner through the speckled hen for our wedding day & couldn’t have been more impressed! Tara was great to work with, she was always quick to respond and made sure the day went smoothly & was so kind on top of it all! The food was amazing- everyone loved everything! My favorites were the roast beef sliders & the white chicken chili soup. There were multiple spaces to choose from for your event- I loved the upstairs of the coffee shop- the brick walls and small bar upstairs were perfect. I highly recommend doing any event through them. Just wish they were closer to home for us to visit more often! Thank you again for everything!!

The Speckled Hen has a nice farm/industrial chic vibe in a cafe type of setting. Seating inside and outside. They offer more than just drink options, but breakfast and lunch options as well, such as French toast and burgers. Prices were good, especially for the amount of food you get. There are gluten free options/substitutions for food items. Everything is labeled on the menu with vegetarian/gluten free/etc options. The staff were kind and helpful. The space was very clean, seating was set up well, and spacious. Food was delicious, and will come again!

Very nice spot to grab lunch or coffee. Got an iced Carmel latte, it was incredible. One of- if not, the- best Carmel lattes I've had. The burgers were tasty. Absolutely love that the meat was pasture raised.

The catering menu was easy to find and had a great selection. There was a nice variety of choices to choose from including vegan, vegetarian and gluten free.
Tara was able to answer any question I had. She was quick to respond and made sure we had everything we needed for our catering event. The whole process was very smooth and easy from beginning to end.
They delivered the meals in plenty of time. The food was delicious and presented beautifully.
We will definitely order from Speckled Hen again.

Great breakfast with a number of gluten free options and plenty of menu options overall. Service was prompt and pleasant and the atmosphere was relaxing. Coffee was good.

While many area hotels, including the one we stayed at, offer free morning fare, nothing compares to the delicacies you're certain to enjoy at the Speckled Hen. It features a perfect blend of hipster and farm to table, with tastes thar are truly memorable. I had the Cinnamon French toast with a side of maple bacon and their signature Speckled Hen latte. Yum! Highly recommended.

The food here is so good! The menu includes an abundance of fresh, local, and healthy options. I recommend getting the Speckled Hen burger and add pickled onions, and the maple latte! Only downfall is that it is a little bit expensive.

We just had breakfast at Speckled Hen coffee with young kids. The play area is the big bonus . Kids had so much fun cooking in the kitchen set. The food is phenomenal and delicious! Highly recommended for family for breakfast in the early morning before it starts crowded.

A great little spot for brunch (or lunch)! Their hot caramel latte was delicious and their house made syrups are fantastic! The food menu was delicious and had tons of options that could suit anyone. Our personal favorite was the stacked French toast.

It was nice that they had all sorts of indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for a quick bite to eat or even something quicker. We can’t wait to come back for lunch sometime!

I have ordered breakfast and lunch catering from the speckled hen! The staff is amazing and helpful. They are my go to when I need something at short notice. They have a great variety of sandwich offerings for everyone. Their cookies are also a must for every order! I love supporting this local business!

Amazing food, service, and atmosphere! This is a very charmingly decorated local treasure with amazing food. It was very busy both times we went however the line moved very quickly and we received our food in short order as well. The food was presented well and tasted amazing!

A little gem in Strasburg. Stopped in for a mocha latte and blueberry cream muffin. Loved the atmosphere and decor; modern and fresh. Nice place to have a meal or just share conversation over a great cup of coffee (and something sweet). Service was great as well.

Our company made reservations for the side room at the Bespoke location for a catered lunch and it was excellent! The food was delicious, the service was above and beyond, and we had a great time. Not only was the staff at the restaurant attentive and friendly, Tara and the rest of the behind the scenes catering and management team were wonderful to work with, as well, they were patient and accommodating. We will be back without a doubt, thanks so much for exceeding our expectations, and it's always nice seeing a team take pride in their work.

Whenever I venture to Lancaster I always make it a goal to start off with a stop at Speckled Hen. Their lattes are always spot on and they have the friendliest staff. Thanks SH!🫶🏽
