Pub 20 / The Ruffed Grouse

Spent Labor Day weekend in Erie and wanted to give Pub 20 a try while we were on the East End of town. I must say their deck had the perfect ambience, waitress was extremely pleasant & responsive, and the food was excellent. We both had Honey Pepper Chicken Mac&Cheese (hand breaded chicken!). Would definitely return, as their menu had a wide variety of intriguing options we didn't get to try. A must stop when on the wine trail!

We've been here multiple times. The service has always been great and the food is better than your average pub. They have a great variety of items to pick from, so there's something for everyone. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try if you haven't already!

Everything was very good.

Went to Pub20 on a recommendation from a fishing charter captain. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and the service. We will definitely will go back when near Erie, Pa! Awesome place!

The Alfredo was awesome 🤩 we also had chilli and it was incredible as well. The waitress was sooooo sweet and I felt welcome 🥰🤤🤤

We were 7 of 9 in the dining room. Food a little slow coming out. But it was hot and tasty. Server was attentive with a nice smile and came back often. Took reservation as well.

I'd heard the food was good here and it turns out I'd heard correctly. A really ambitious menu had me nervous and intrigued. Our group had the "elephant ear" sandwich, quesadillas, soup and chicken salad and a burger...all routine bar food, mostly. But the food was unusually well executed and the service was great. Also, a great beer selection and a top notch collection of hot sauces further distinguish this gem. I'll be headed back soon to try out more of their large and diverse menu.

"The Grouse" has long been a favorite for my wife and me. However, we haven't been back for a while, and had a chance to eat there a couple days ago. Knowing it is under new management, we were a bit curious to see what, if any, changes were made, and how it would affect the food. We.were pleasantly surprised. My wife got the baked fish and " Baby Baker" potatoes; I got the fried fish and french fries. Her fish was superb, although she was initially skeptical of the potatoes. But throughout the meal, she couldn't stop raving about them. My fish was awesome, and although in my experience, "fries are fries," these may have been the best fries I have ever had.

The staff was cheery and helpful, and the craft beer selection terrific as always. The menu has favorites from before, plus a few additions that look very tempting.

Well done, we can't wait to go back.

We had a great time. Wednesday nite was wing nite. The greek fries were banging. Totally going again. That chocolate cake was HUGE. It was the 1st time i took my friend and he loved it.

Never judge a book by its cover. Absolutely blown away by the plating, pairing, and flavor of our dishes. My fiance got the sautéed scallops and I got the pork osso buco. The pasta that came with the scallops was by far the best pasta I've ever had. That kitchen is killing it. Congrats on a job well done.

We had a very large group of diners and we were very well taken care of. Food was yummy, they brought out our kids food first which is always a huge help for us when dining out with alot of kids. The Ruben was great! Our waitresses were very nice and did a wonderful job.

Love it. The food is outstanding. The servers are very nice. Not crazy about the parking lot but I can't complain about anything inside.

Highly recommended. Really good food and a far more extensive menu than I expected. I hadn't gone in years because it used to be mediocre. A number of people told us how great it was and they are right.

Lobster and and cheese was creamy deliciousness! My husband had Greek burger. Burger was great Greek sauce could use more Greek seasoning/bite but otherwise good. Fries, generous cut, seasoned well, crispy!

Favorite local restaurant. They have a number of very good dishes with large portions. Hard to go wrong.

Great place with great food. The lobster rolls were awesome.

Surprisingly good food with good presentation. My Korean Mac and onion soup was delicious. Sheryl's knowledge of the drink is unparalleled and has the patience of a saint.

The food and the service were both excellent. Don't judge a book by its cover. My husband and I were definitely glad we took a chance
