Boscov's

This store has some of the best sales! I drove over an hour to look for sneakers and found a pair within 5 minutes of walking in their store! And they were on sale at half price!

This is a really nice store. Clean and well stocked. Their sales are fantastic. They have alot of brand name clothes such as Levi's, Lee's and designer clothes. The employees are helpful and friendly. I really love Boscovs and shopping here. Update to my review: my daughter wanted to shop here for a skirt, she bought 3 because they were on sale. The store is still fantastic!!

Both my wife and I always find the items we need and we didn’t know we need at Boscov’s. A wonderful department store that has an amazing array of items. This was. Our first time at this store and enjoyed the selection and the kind staff.

This is a favorite stop when in the Altoona area. The store was very well stocked with end of summer and new fall items.
It seems that there are always bargains to be had in a variety of departments.

Great experience. Jarrett was very helpful in assisting us with lighting and furniture.

Wish they had more shopping carts even for up stairs for the people. I don't buy a lot due to having to carry it around.

The employees are so nice, no matter how busy they are. Thos was on friends helping friends event.

Very well stocked two-story Boscov's with amazing prices. Some of their prices were better than the thrift store. I was surprised to see that!

Many of the items that are super discounted (90%+ off) are off brand or clearly discounted for a reason (e.g. bright colors, loud prints, styles that aren't exactly "in trend" nor timeless staples, and uncommon shoe sizes.)

They also have a good assortment of nicer things. Stay awhile and look around!

It's the only decent place to get good clothes in Altoona anymore. I bought a very warm comforter set for my bed after seeing the display. They go far to welcome the customers and have a nice atmosphere.
