Really gorgeous selection of annuals and perennials! My husband and I enjoyed walking through their outdoor garden center. Under $200 for our selection of perennials and $.10 for yard stakes for landscaping fabric. Great local nursery!

We showed up a little over a half hour before closing time to buy some firewood.
We asked about buying the full rack of wood. The cashier at the nursery looked around the parking lot and said "where's your truck?" And gently (understandably, logically even) tried to talk us out of it.

He didn't believe us when we said "it will fit." I didn't really believe us either.

For $175, we filled a Prius with firewood. We didn't ask for help loading the car, but a couple of the employees came over and loaded it in with us. Everyone involved was incredibly upbeat and friendly, and they saved us so much time with their help.

We had stopped by on Friday to look around the nursery, and the selection of young and established landscape trees and shrubs was impressive. It's a little early for most flowers, but they still had a nice array of early bloomers available. Will definitely be back for plants as we work on our yard. The customer service here can't be beat!

Outstanding selection and friendly, helpful service. We purchased 5 different trees with assistance from Ben and Kyle. The 3 gentlemen that did the installation were quick, neat, and respectful. We are extremely pleased and look forward to dealing with Bennett and his staff in the future.

I want to say thank you to the team at Phelps Nursery. Everyone was very helpful in explaining the variation of plants that would work for my landscaping project. It was very peaceful and relaxing to walk through the variety of plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers they have. It didn’t feel like a project run. I was able to take my time and I received immediate help when I needed it. They retrieved my selected shrubs and loaded my vehicle and I was on my way. I will definitely be back.

While I was working in our garden this morning a woman walked by and said….”your garden looks so beautiful. That home’s landscaping has never looked so lovely. “Why???….plain and simply because of Kyle and his crew at Phelps.
We recently moved from Rochester NY and. wanted the entire landscape of our home redone. I was lucky enough to have Kyle respond to my phone message. He came over to our home and gave his expert opinion how to transform a drab colorless landscape to one bursting with color and texture. Soon we had our design to look over and Kyle was always quick to respond to my many questions. He personally met us at the nursery to pick out all of our flowers, trees and shrubs.
Kyle’s crew worked from morning til early evening tearing out the old and planting the new. Everything planted was of pristine quality. This has been ( because I still call Kyle!) a stellar gardening experience from start to finish. You won’t find a more knowledgeable landscaper than Kyle and adding to all of his expertise he’s a great guy, friendly and always willing to help. And….the price is very reasonable! You will be beyond satisfied and happy choosing Phelps Nursery….and ask to deal with Kyle!

Had patio (pavers) installed by Phelps team and was incredibly happy with the result. their teams work quickly, respected our wishes when it came to design choices, and left the work area in very good shape. They are worth every penny!

Phelps has been taking care of my landscaping needs several times in the last 6 years or so, and I can always count on them to install top quality trees, shrubs, and mulch. Their landscapers are always the most polite, conscientious, and hardworking guys you'll find. They just finished up a few jobs for me this spring, and as usual, I couldn't be happier.

My husband and I recently moved to Moon Township and we very much needed our property to be newly landscaped in the summer. Bennett Phelps took the time from all his other customers to listen carefully to what we needed to be done. He kindly then connected me to Kyle Bondi who did everything to make sure the whole process of our landscaping project was completed successfully! Kyle was amazingly informative, helpful and very polite. Also, at the beginning of this whole project, Bennett took the time from his extremely tight schedule to actually come to our house along with Kyle to give us his expertise which was extremely generous of him to do that. Tito and his team were excellent with all their planting of the trees and bushes and all the very hard work they put in for several weeks to complete our landscaping masterfully and also our entrance walkway. Tito was incredibly respectful and professional. My husband and I knew that under his supervision all the landscaping would be successful and he was a joy to meet. The whole staff is very professional and helpful always and the selection of trees and plants are of the highest quality. We are very glad to have our landscaping designed and installed by Phelps Nursery. Everyone who sees our property compliments on how gorgeous our landscaping is and we are very proud to tell them who did it!

Could not be happier! Great job by Kyle and his crew of cleaning out beds, edging, mulching (8cy) and clean up. They’ve also planted shrubs before with the same level of service. Recommend them highly!

had phelps construct a retaining wall, with my limited budget. i had no expectations as i just needed a wall constructed. i am over the moon with the results. the wall is beautiful and several neighbors have already commented as to how beautiful it looks, adding beautiful curb appeal. the phelps team was superb. they really did work together as a team, and even suggested to their boss different approaches that would work/look better…and they were right, based on my comments above. they worked hard both days, cleaned up the area, and took with them, any debris resulting from the build (incl old soil and the greenery that they had to remove to build the wall). kyle, who came to view my property and provided the quote, was also great to work with. he sent the quote a day or so after the visit, and worked with me to ensure it came within my budget. he followed up with scheduling and checked in throughout the process. a genuinely nice and approachable guy to work with. i was a phelps customer before , and this project ensures that i will remain a loyal phelps customer. thanks, kyle and your team! loving my new wall!!!

7/2019: Outstanding! Wish I had discovered them sooner. Huge selection of plants and trees....much more variety in types and sizes versus other local places. Prices were great, especially for the mature trees and bushes that we purchased. Adequate staff and very helpful but not as heavily staffed as smaller local places. Probably good for prices. Prices are not marked but staff can give you the prices. (Explained to us that prices are not marked because they sell high volume to contractors who don't want their plant purchase prices advertised). We had one of the guys walk the nursery with us, gave great advice. Could not have been happier. Having trees and bushes installed. Competitive install price. 1 year warranty. Instructions given for care including a need to water daily for the season (common sense?).
Update: Had a single tree die several months after planting (no fault of Phelps). Removed and replaced by Phelps with a similar tree. Great service!

As a landscape designer, I’ve been very happy dealing with Phelps for the last 5 years! Great plant selection. Beefed up perennial selection last year and this year definitely welcomed! The staff is the BEST ! Knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. Ben, the owner, is great and always takes time to assist with any questions or special requests. Top notch all the way!

We had a significant landscaping project needed around our house and pool and Phelps Nursery delivered more than our expected. From our initial meeting with Kyle, he was professional, courteous, and consultative on what types of plants and trees would work best for our space. Kyle invited us out to the nursery to get some ideas of the types of plants/trees we like to help him incorporate an overall plan that was within our initial budgetary requests. He keep us informed and got us scheduled within a timely manner and the work done by the Phelps team and maintenance suggestions by Kyle were outstanding. I highly recommend them and suggest Phelps Nursery and be sure to contact Kyle to assist you through the process.

I needed landscaping help to disguise mechanicals on the side of my house and remove the hodgepodge of existing plants that didn't work anymore. I had an idea in mind and Bennett Phelps was super helpful in plotting the design on paper, recommending the best trees/plants to fit the space and to solve the problem, and was mindful of my budget. The job entailed tearing out existing plants, installing new plants & three trees, re-homing two existing plants and finishing up by shaping the bed and topping with pea gravel (my preference over mulch). Kyle Bondi, the general manager, was a pleasure to work with! Friendly, professional and stayed in touch throughout the process. On installation day, David, the job foreman, was great - he worked with me to make sure the work was done to my satisfaction and also advised me on how best to feed & care for my new babies :-) I wish I could wave a wand and everything would be mature now but I'm confident that in a few years, my objective will be achieved!

I reviewed multiple proposals to have my front yard landscaped. What sold me on Phelps was the personal attention we received from Bennett, Phelps owner. He created a design based on our input and guided us on best practices. The Phelps team did a great job of implementing the design and were very professional. Many people have stopped me and commented positively on the design and choice of plants. I would urge anyone looking for a landscaping service to visit Phelps.

Last summer we contracted Phelps Nursery to design and install multiple paver patios and sidewalks along with substantial landscaping for our new home we were building. From day 1 when we sat down with Bennett, it was obvious he has a passion for what he does. In our first meeting, we spent a good hour with Bennett discussing what we had in mind regarding patios and landscaping. We then walked through his nursery so he could get an idea of what we loved, liked and didn't like. A week later we met with Bennett and he presented his design and we loved it. It was a big project with his crew on site for 6 weeks. The install crew was great and I was shocked how well the cleaned up and organized their equipment after they finished up each evening. Bennett is a hands on guy, he made multiple visits each week to check on the progress of the job. The finished product exceeded our expectations. It's obvious Bennett's knowledge and passion is why he is successful. My wife and I couldn't have been happier with how things went and were thrilled to have Bennett's fingerprints on our new home.

Reliable and honest, Phelps Nursery is a convenient business for bulk landscaping materials and live goods. The live goods are more expensive than Home Depot or Lowe's, but the quality trumps the price tag. I highly recommend Phelps Nursery and I will continue to deal with them.

I was looking for something out of the ordinary to make a statement for my customers front yard. I went to Phelps Nursery since I knew Ben would have the highest quality of trees and shrubs and I can always find trees or plants that other nurseries do not carry. I wasn't wrong. I love going to this nursery. I usually spend hours just looking at everything he has. He has the best pottery and statuary I have ever seen. His fireplaces and the outdoor grills are one of a kind. I buy everything from him because of the quality and the great selection. Ben and his staff are always there and ready to help and answer any questions you might have.

Ben/owner is a talented landscape designer and knows his plants! He was able to bring both of our visions together for our hillside planting project and has a vast selection of plants! On top of that his installation crew were professional & one very hard working group and very particular/detailed in their planting. I highly recommend them for any planting project or landscape redesign we are having them work around our house in the spring of 2018!
