I built a system myself, but it just couldn't boot up. The error code on the mobo showed it was the problem of the CPU. It would be terrible if the CPU was dead, because it was a used one bought from eBay and I had to argue with the seller... Luckily I found Nick who just took out everything, cleaned and put everything back carefully, then everything began to work! It seems like he has magic, but I know it's his experience.

These guys have really been amazing! I was working with a very tight schedule to get my laptop fixed before leaving town. They were comprehensive in what needed to be done and got it done quickly. They even gave me a loaner laptop to use to study while they worked on mine. They are very friendly and it was a pleasure working with them. I highly recommend using their services!

Nick is incredible! He is super kind and incredibly hardworking. After getting in touch with him he met me near my home 30 minutes later and took my mac and got to work on it very quickly. He stayed up late some nights to send me updates and fix my computer. The price for his service is incredible and I feel silly for ever bringing my mac to an apple store before his. He took the time to show me the part that he replaced in my laptop and went over the details of my repairs with me. I fully recommend his services for any computer need that you have.

Friendly and courteous staff, and reasonable prices. My computer needed a near full overhaul, but it was much cheaper to get it fixed here, then to go out and buy a new device. They kept me updated at what was wrong with my laptop and what they needed / were going to do to it. I'd recommend this place.

David & Nick are great! They recently helped me get my new Wireless Printer hooked up in my home. It was a new printer in a new apartment we moved to that we could not get hooked to the Wifi. It took Nick just a few minutes for something we struggled with. He cleaned it up while he was here too. We will continue to use these guys as they are awesome. You cannot go wrong with this family business.

The hard drive on my computer went kaput on a Saturday night. Sunday morning I did a google search on computer repair people and Aquilis - North Hills/Pittsburgh popped up. I typed my problem in and within 15 minutes I got a reply and they said that they would come out to the house that day. I thought that was a typo but they were dead serious. I scheduled the appointment and Nick showed up right on time. He diagnosed the problem and took my computer with him to work on it in the shop. One week later, he brought the computer back to me and set it up in my home. It is better than it ever was. He took the time to set up all my programs and explain to me what he repaired and how to navigate some of the new programs he installed. If you are going to have to go through the agony of a hard drive crash, Nick is definitely the person that you want to call to ease your pain. He is extremely knowledgeable and his prices are very straightforward and more than fair - and - if you are a computer idiot like me, he is very patient! Don't hesitate to call these people for any and all of your computer needs!

Fantastic service! Most computer places will strictly work with software and will be unreasonable with their turn around times. Aquilis does both software AND hardware issues. Nick is a very knowledgeable computer and IT guy so he will figure out your issue and advise what the best course of action would be fairly quickly. I've been a customer of his for 3 years now and I've never been disappointed with their service. HIGHLY recommend!

It is now going on 3 months since I initially gave this business my hard drives. Everytime I inquire about the hard drives I am giving a different excuse. They attempted to clone. It didn't work out and now I just want my drives returned! Horrible experience. Never again and don't recommend anyone to do business with this company.

Update: Certainly not a fake review!
However, I have been given back the hard drives and was advised that multiple attempts were made to complete the copy but failed. The business made it right Thank you.

Pretty decent service, had a problem with my pc didn't know what, they figured it out and then emailed me about it, ordered a new part I needed then they replaced the old one and boom pc fixed, everyone is super nice and friendly, only compliant was the time it took for everything but I guess I just had really bad timing on when I took my pc in, a month has passed still dont have my pc back yet I know the owner had family business going on but I was hoping someone would at least keep the store open just so I could drop by and get my pc. Even with that said as long as I get it back soon I'll bump this review up and 100% consider going back for any future problems with my pc. EDIT: got it back next day, again solid service super nice people would recommend

PC wouldn't boot after a dreaded Windows 10 update. They fixed it and installed a new solid state hard drive all for a fair price. Hopefully I won't need to return, but would not hesitate to if something else happens.

If you've got computer troubles, get yourself (and your PC) down to Aquilis Computers on Babcock Blvd in the North Hills. My daughter's laptop PC was having a series of issues, to the point that it eventually shut down and could not be restarted. We called (Asus) customer service, but the (overseas) rep we spoke with could not help us get it up and running. Incredibly, the Asus rep actually directed us to Aquilis based on our ZIP. Anyway, the gentleman there took possession of the laptop and said he'd call us after working on it a bit. Sure enough, in less than 90 minutes, he got the laptop back up and running again. To boot, he only charged us for the "Easy Fix" repair. Amazing!!! I'll definitely return here if I ever have PC troubles again - no doubt. EXCELLENT service.

I took two computers not knowing if they could be repaired. Nick and his team diagnosed the problem right away and offered me solutions within minutes. Service was excellent and the price was reasonable. Highly recommend them to my family and friends.

My computer had a virus and my laptop kept disconnecting from the Internet. Tyler and owner Nick fixed everything and also helped with some other issues (and showed me how to navigate MS 10). This company is fair, helpful and knowledgeable and close to my home. I am happy with their service.

Aquilis did a great job with the data recovery from a dead hard drive. They were professional and did a great job describing to me what they were going to do with the laptop and maintained consistent communication with me about their progress. I had my data back within 24 hours of dropping it off. No problems at all. They were the cheapest price for the service on top of it all. I hope I’ve learned my lesson to always back up my data, but if not I know that I’m coming back to Aquilis.

Brought my custom PC to Nick to have him sort a boot issue. He solved the problem for me and was also able to get a very fast warranty on my power supply, which was not performing at 100%. Very happy with the service and his responsiveness. 10/10 would recommend.

I walked in with a laptop with water all over the motherboard, wouldn't turn on at all. I walked out an hour later with the same laptop, functioning perfectly. It cost like 40 bucks, and that includes the data recovery we did first just in case. Amazing, prompt service at a very reasonable price. I'm very happy.

All around great service. Carl and his team were efficient and effective at determining the best option to see my work laptop was repaired on a schedule that worked for me. They clearly communicated all timelines (from diagnostics, to receiving of the part, to actual repair), made available a loaner computer while mine was in their care, and the costs associated. Additionally, they provided me with clear recommendations to avoid future issues on not only this laptop, but other electronic devices!

I first spoke with a repair shop that was a bit closer to my house, but the Aquilis team earned my business through their great customer service. I will definitely turn to them for any future repairs.

Dropped off after calling to make an appointment. I bought new components for my current build, but was unable to turn my system on.

It cost $25 just for the diagnosis. It took a few weeks, mainly because I dropped it off right next to a vacation... Which was probably planned.

They found the problem, which was one of the components wasn't seated all the way.

Nick was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about my PC situation. Not only did he walk me through my issues but he also helped troubleshoot additional windows issues unrelated to the original fix. I’ll definitely be coming back for any future PC help whether it be PC or a MAC.

Nick and the team at Aquilis are fantastic! I wasn’t able to get my computer to start up or get windows to update after countless troubleshooting attempts.
