Guardian Storage Ross Township

This was my first experience with a storage unit. I was pleasantly surprised. From initially viewing the unit, to the final days at my unit, I never had a single complaint. First timers, please read below:

From day one, I was able to schedule a no obligation visit to view the unit that I was interested in. I met with Jay, who was great, and I felt zero pressure from him to commit to anything. The unit was a drive up unit which was very clean and dry. The unit was also in a secured well illuminated location with gate code access and egress.

I was in-between houses and needed to store majority of my house and garage items. I decided to secure the unit and took advantage of the promotional rates offered at this time (1/2 off the first 2 months).

When I was ready to move my items into the unit, Manager John Helms helped me out with the rental box truck that's located on site (very convenient as opposed to having to go back to a rental company somewhere else). John explained everything in full and was very personable and professional. For being my first time using a storage unit, John offered some great advice and tips on storage techniques.

My duration of the stay was 4 months over the winter time, and I had zero issues with weather/moisture (Pittsburgh weather fluctuated by 30 degrees at times and stormed). I used 2 moisture control buckets from Home Depot, recommended by John as a precaution. The unit stayed bone dry, zero issues.

Upon my final month, the process was as seemless as the initial day. John explained the exit process and helped out again with the box truck. I never had an issue with timely correspondence/communication. I simply sent an email and called once I cleared/cleaned out the unit. The management of this operation was top notch and hassle free. I highly recommend the Ross Guardian Storage location to any first time storage unit goers.

John Helms just gave me fantastic tech support setting up the new gate entry protocol. He has always been very helpful to me from our initial tour of the facility years ago, filling out the lease forms, help with the elevator, & today’s tech support. He’s always friendly & courteous. The facility is aways clean & the driveway is always kept clear during the cold months. I honestly can’t list any cons at this point. I’m very pleased with John & this facility.

My dad is a long time customer and has always been treated very well by Manager John. Yesterday when we had to move some items, Jay was there. He assisted us with everything we needed. He was so kind and professional. He made the experience a positive one. Also, I can’t forget to mention how helpful the maintenance guy was. We would definitely recommend Guardian in Ross.

A hidden gem! The conference room was clean, spacious and had all of the amenities that are offered in spaces that cost hundreds of dollars per day. John was so accommodating and friendly as well.

This facility is a great option for your storage needs. Customer service was top-notch at the Ross location and the facility was always well taken care of. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a clean, safe, and affordable storage facility!

John was a great help and answered everything that was needed. Overall storage facility is clean and well maintained. Online experience to book the unit was easy and a breeze. The storage truck rental was a bonus and convenient to be at this location. Overall highly recommend for your next unit rental.

John and Jay are great! I was already a long term customer with one unit, then had to rent 2 additional units during a particularly fraught move. J & J couldn't have been more helpful in showing me the units, discussing options, and making the whole storage situation as painless as possible. The units and facility are super clean and any issues, such as a sticky door, are resolved within 24 hours, mostly on the same business day. This is a first-rate facility! Now if only they could do something to modify the drive up that hill... :)

This is like the third time that I use Guardian storage in North Hills. John and Jay were just fantastic. Always very helpful. Answered all my questions the place is totally clean organized. I would definitely recommend Guardian storage.

I have used Guardian Storage in Ross Township in the pst for a storage unit. However, I am very thrilled with their eRecycling program. it is the easiest way to have most electronic items recycled.
I should add they they do NOT accept televisions or computer monitors, however those items can be recycled through other services like Waste Management At Your Door or other service providers.
I have used Guardian for recycling many electronic products, from computer printers to APC units. I cannot thank them enough for this service.

John is the man. Jay is as well! Those guys there always were respectful and friendly. The unit was great as well. If I ever need another storage facility you guys will be the first on my list. Thanks guys for being awesome.

John and Jay are phenomenal, they are polite, and professional never rude, I was glad to have had the opportunity to meet them. The place is clean and spot on you don’t carry anything to your 🚘 they have furniture carts for your furniture and a elevator left. Making your move less stressful.and the bathroom 🚽 is always clean 🧼 I recommend Gardian Storage

Don’t know how many people know this but these good folks actually accept certain types of e-waste at their Ross twp location. I drove up during regular business hours, went up to the leasing office and the gentleman behind the desk escorted me to the collection area. No charge, either

I was amazed at how well-lit and clean the facility is. My husband and I were very impressed with John's professionalism. He made the entire process an easy one for us. Also appreciate that we have access to the facility until 10:00 p.m. every day.

Complimentary Conference Room Use

I needed a quiet space to have a Zoom meeting. Guardian Storage offers free use of their conference room to the public. You can sign up online or contact John at the Ross Township location on McKnight Road. John was very accommodating and I appreciated the quiet and professional setting!

My experience today with Guardian Storage Ross Township was absolutely positive. Jay assisted me in setting up my contract. He was extremely helpful and top notch professional, making the process quick and seamless. Extra attention was given to be sure I understood the policies and to answer all my questions. Jay went above and beyond to help me, and to ensure I was a very satisfied customer!!
Additionally, the facility was so clean and well kept that it looked brand new! I felt at ease knowing that with the security systems set up, I’d be safe going by myself anytime day or night.

Unique feature here. They accept hard to recycle and e-cycle materials (just not TVs), for free! Just drop them off. Thanks to John this morning for his help!

Staff is helpful. Upkeep is great. Very clean. Access is easy. Loading docks are available and easy to use. Carts readily available. Great experience with site and team.

Guardian is a great place to recycle your hard to get rid of e-waste. John was a huge help and the team there does a fantastic job.

Clean, welcoming, safe facility with friendly staff willing to share their knowledge! I stopped by to recycle electronics via Guardian’s partnership with Evolution E-Cycling and was given clear instructions on the program. In, recycled, and done in less than 10 minutes!

Very clean facility, numerous carts available at all times to assist with moving things in and out. The staff was always very helpful and professional. It was exactly what we needed to store things while our house was staged to sell.
