The Allegheny Health Network Sports Performance & Physical Therapy complex is an amazing facility with personable and talented staff! I came to see Dr. Garin after the progression of chronic ankle issues began to impact my daily activity and quality of life. Wanting to avoid surgery if I could, I decided to give physical therapy one last shot, and I’m so glad that I did! I began to notice improvements through my program immediately. After completing my physical therapy program, I transitioned into the strength training programs. I can’t say enough about the physical therapy and strength training staff. Everyone is so personable, encouraging, and attentive. Their programs are set at such a personal level, and they provide thorough one-on-one attention to help you achieve your goals!

This is a state of the art sports performance and physical therapy facility in Wexford. Not only is the facility itself exceptional, but every member of the PT and strength/conditioning teams are extremely knowledgeable and genuinely care about each patients needs. The staff members here show they are focused and dedicated to helping every person improve physically and mentally whether injured from a sports injury or just wanting to better oneself overall health. After 8 months of ACL rehab and recovery with the AHN team, I feel stronger and more fit than before the injury. This is the only PT and strength/conditioning facility that I will use in the future as long as I am in the Pittsburgh area! I wouldn't be where I am today without each and every one of the staff members at AHN Wexford.

Dr. Garin Wyberg was my physical therapist after I tore my ACL and both meniscus in my left knee in March. 7 months later that leg is stronger than my right. Dr. Garin did a great job listening and adjusting the recovery based on how the knee was feeling week to week. Would highly recommend.

Everyone at AHN's Sports Performance and Physical Therapy Complex is incredibly gifted. They worked as a cohesive team to heal my injuries and to become physically and mentally stronger. They always encouraged me to do my very best. I highly recommend the awesome team for physical therapy and strength training.

They have a great location in Wexford and are all so friendly and easy to contact! It’s very easy to schedule appointments and use the AHN MyChart app. Dr. Garin has helped me enormously by tackling my shoulder and neck problems. I am 24 years old and have had these pains for many years and been to chiropractors that never seemed to clear up the problem or take the time to look into it further. I came to physical therapy, recommended by my doctor, with a shoulder injury and Dr. Garin took the time to really evaluate what was going on and pin point that the stem of the problem was coming from my neck. He helped me be able to make the pain go away as well as gave me exercises to do at home to prevent it from hurting again. I highly recommend working with Dr. Garin, he makes you feel as comfortable as possible and he is extremely professional. He is well versed in what he does and I will absolutely tell everyone about the great work he does with his clients!!

While some places will put "sport medicine" on anything this place is the real thing. You can tell the moment you walk through the door. I highly recommend this office to active individuals looking to get back to or maintain a highly active lifestyle. I worked with Katie and she was great!

Dr. Garin worked with my teenage daughter in 2020 and with me in 2021. Both of our health issues required long term physical therapy. From day one, Dr. Garin was amazing. He treated us both with respect. Dr. Garin is very professional and he is very knowledgable. He guided us through our recovery processes with patience and understanding. He truly wanted to understand our issues from our experiences. He approched our treatment with skill, explanations, and encouragement. Dr. Garin also has excellent bedside manner. He is considerate, attentive, proficient, and humorous. I would highly recommend Dr. Garin for your physical therapy needs.

Always does what is best for their clients and are very thorough. Really helped me get back to being athletic and active after my knee surgery. Wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

3.5/5 stars
The appointment book was always overfull, very hard to get appointments even a week or two in advance. The fact that you see only the PT and not an assistant is a good idea but unfortunately made scheduling impossible.

They often had partisan Fox News on in the lobby, which was not pleasant when I was just there for an appointment.

Katie was an amazing PT but the other PTs were not. I had a complicated case of chronic pain and one of the male PTs was extremely rude to me at one point (as I was not showing signs of improvement and was upset about it) and said rudely he was "trying to help me" when I gave feedback on how things were going.

None of the PTs did enough hands on mobility work which is why I left in the end. Switched to North Hills Ortho PT and they noted how much mobility work I needed. They gave me completely different exercises too, and I actually started improving.

Also, they run a fitness program in the same facility, so it was very loud and full of athletes and fitness/wellness coaches sometimes. Not great if you are in severe pain or adverse to loud environments in general. I had to listen to one of the coaches give sketchy "nutrition" advice several times. May not bother many people but again, I was there for rehabilitation, not "fitness."
