Gypsum Rose

Adorable shop with outdoor water features , stopped in and found the most beautiful moonstone ring in my size! Needless to say I was thrilled to wear my purchase out of the store and here a year later my ring is still in perfect condition durable and I intend to make a special trip in the future to come back to this shop again. Moonstone I purchased is absolutely beautiful and I highly recommend this shop for quality pieces to add to your collection and lots of neat things to look at around the shop. Thank you Gypsum Rose

Julie was super friendly and gave us a bunch of her time explaining the rocks and minerals that we wanted to look at. The prices were very reasonable as well. We'll visit again soon.

I was so happy the shop was open during the day on a weekday while my wife and I were in Idaho Springs. Very nice little shop with some very cool gems and rocks. I ended up purchasing a nice cabinet piece of rainbow calcite from Durango, Mexico. While carefully selecting my piece I set my bag down and ended up forgetting it. When we circled back the owner had saved my bag for me and was very nice. I recommend this business!

I visited here on a trip to Colorado, and it was one of my favorite spots that I went in the entire state! Such knowledgeable and caring staff, plus a huge selection of really cool jewelry and crystals. I honestly could not have asked for a better experience! I will be back when I come to Colorado again!

Great gem of a shop! The shop owner was very knowledgeable of the products and their origin. Very attentive and personable. The prices were reasonable with a very unique selection of stones and gems. I highly recommend a visit in this shop.

Loved this store! My daughter is interested in rocks and minerals and we were able to find some new ones (not located in the us) for her collection. Staff was very knowledgeable..we will definitely be back.

good selection, knowledgeable and nice enough staff but i am disappointed with my experience. we spent about an hour selecting our items and when we went to pay, i was informed all of the prices labeled were incorrect and were in fact two or three times the amount.
as a shopper, i was working within a budget and i mentioned that i felt discouraged and mislead by their prices as i had to put back many items. i suggested that they should update their prices so people have full transparency and they responded by saying that it would "take forever "
this is not my first rodeo. i have been collecting for years and i treasure the experiences i have at local small business gem and mineral shops. however, this experience felt slimey and dishonorable. after they made it clear they wouldn't honor the advertised prices, i should have just left and kept my money but i felt so uncomfortable at the whole situation and now regret my purchase
