A & A Historical Horseback Riding

We had a blast on the 2 hour tour with Jacob as our guide. Great view, a lot of info regarding thing along the trail and in the area. The horses were beauties and so easy to enjoy….plus they have several dogs who love attn. highly recommend you check them out.

This was a wonder experience. We arrived and were greeted happily by some the dogs. The horses were well taken care of and well behaved. The trail was beautiful and our guide was so pleasant! She was a delight! Happy with our overall experience

A+ from start to finish! Website was perfect and easy to reserve a horseback ride well in advance. I was sent friendly messages reminding me that our date to ride was coming up. We actually drove there the evening before to make sure we knew the route and were greeted then by the owners. They were extremely helpful and friendly at that time; and were also that way the morning of our ride. We had Chayse as a guide and he was perfect! Very knowledgeable about the horses and the area, as well as extremely friendly!! Would recommend that everyone should book a horseback ride with them!

Stunning views! A great core memory experience, my kids loved it and are ready to go back already! Well maintained beautiful horses and so calm with the kids. This is a must do! Nice family owned very good vibes and energy!

Really good stable for those looking for an authentic experience. The horses are beautiful and well kept. The guides are experienced, knowledgeable, considerate and accommodating. The views are breath taking. The guides and horses have patience with kids. The horses have personalities and are playful, unlike other stables where they seem depressed. Add in that this stable is close to the metro area and very reasonably priced and it makes it one of the top in the state. They will treat you like family and you will leave with thoughts of planning your next ride. If you are lucky, you will get the stable dogs to join you on your adventure.

We really enjoyed our ride with A&A Stables. Very well behaved horses with a friendly informative guide. The trail has beautiful mountain vista views and old mine shafts/equipment.

We took our 3 daughters yesterday 5, 8 & 12. This was by far the best trail riding experience we ever had! We had a young guide Izzie, who made everything so fun for our girls! She let our 8 year old lead the trail for a short while, because it was her birthday, which my daughter LOVED!! Then my 12 year old got to lead.
Izzie knew so much about the area and gave us some great information about the old mines as we rode. The scenery is stunning, that trail is beautiful!!! We all really enjoyed riding with her and she was so intuitive about how to make the trail exciting for my kids. When the trail was more flat and smooth, all of us got to trot the horses and the giggles and smiles from our girls were priceless. We will definitely return and highly recommend A&A

*Side note, we picked A&A originally because we were able to do a ride with just our family and not a large group of people we didn’t know. Also, because they allowed our 5 year old to ride double, since we didn’t feel she was ready to be on her own.
The team we met at A&A were very welcoming. It is a casual environment, with outstanding service. And we loved all the happy dogs running around, living their best lives.

A&A stables was the perfect spot to take my parents when they visited Colorado. For starters, it's conveniently located in Central City, therefore not too far from the Denver metro area. The staff were extremely friendly including our wonderful guide Briley! She provided us fun facts and tips and tricks for riding the horses. Speaking of the horses, they were all extremely mellow and perfect for my mom who was a first time rider. We did the 90 min ride and it was perfect because near the end our rear ends started hurting a bit. I absolutely will be back!

My wife and I had an amazing time and would definitely come back again for another ride! Colton and Briley were excellent tour guides and brought us to an incredible location for taking our picture (which he took several of for us). The horses were very calm and the ride was very enjoyable considering this was our first time riding in a good 15-20 years.

My husband and I had an absolute blast on our 90 minute ride with A&A! The trail is beautiful, the horses are incredibly well trained, and the guides are amazing! I could not recommend enough!!

Had a great 1.5 hour ride. All of the horses were great and the views were spectacular. Isn’t quite space for a little trot or gallop but still a great time.

Amazing experience. Incredible value. You get to see a lot of cool old buildings and mine shafts. Just be careful on your way up the mountain, the road gets rough.
