Beautiful motel
The parking was a bit questionable in my room. I couldn't see any lines, but thankfully, I didn't get in trouble.
Check-in was super simple and fast!
The room was a bit out of date but was still beautiful in its own way. The shower/bathroom was clean and spacious.
Now I may be dumb, which is quite true. But I had some major issues figuring out of to work the TV and ac. I attempted to contact the office but couldn't reach anyone, and it was locked when I went up. A local friend came over and showed me how, so it was probably me being dumb lol.
I had no problem with any bugs. No roaches, ants, or bed bugs! That made me so happy and stress-free!
Checkout was a bit stressful. No one was in office and so I had to leave my key in the drop box before I left. That, however, may be normal. Usually, there is paperwork and a walkover before I leave, so it was so simple!

Very well ran older hotel. The rooms were quite lovely with very good heaters. I say that because it's probably around 6000ft therefore quite cold. I really do have to say how well ran it was. We had booked rooms the night before and when we got there they didn't have our room, bit without missing a beat, they upgraded us no extra charge. We went to gamble in Blackhawk Colorado and it's a easy 8 mile drive from hotel to casinos. Really this is one of those well kept secrets. I will definitely book here again.

I was surprisingly impressed by this place. Firstly, the gal at the front desk was the absolute sweetest thing I've ever dealt with and the rooms themselves, I honestly expected to be uninhabitable honestly but I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and kept they actually were. I was in the middle of an emergency situation and this whole place and the girl at the desk were just a blessing! As was her bf who towed my vehicle!! Small small world -or small small town at least! Lol

Stopped here for a few nights after camping. Was able to do my laundry, get a few nice hot showers in and enjoy Idaho Springs to the fullest. Room was dated but very clean! It's not the most high class hotel but the microwave, refrigerator, carefully folded towels, soft blankets and helpful staff made this a great place to refresh after spending time in the mountains.

Got a room with a nice walk-in shower! Perfect! The room is simple, large, but has older furniture, but the heater worked great! Plenty of parking, and some tasty casual dining nearby. There is also a nearby pub and liquor store and safeway. Great place for single travelers and younger casual couples.

Stayed here with family precovid. We drove up from Texas and almost got snowed in here. We book our room last min and had a wonderful experience! The specific room we had was bigger than I expected and I loved having a kitchen. With a grocery store right next door it really came in handy. Also Idaho Springs is beautiful and will always have a special place in my heart from this visit.

Quaint and cute with the retro furnishings and it’s quirks. The Ritz it ain’t, but I’ll stay here again next year, or on my way back. Just please don’t put the temperature up to 87. Thanks.

We traveled from Kentucky & got a room last minute- it was perfectly fitting for our needs!! Pet Friendly, Comfy beds, AC, clean, and even had bath and body products on the more natural side!! Very friendly. We had the family room, for us three girls. Next time I'll bring my family!!

This is a great place, the staff is very friendly, helpful, accommodating, and really nice. The rooms are very clean and quite nice for the affordable price. The hot tub in the spa was perfect after a full day running the Tough Mudder challenge. I will return to this establishment again when I am in this area.

We took it only for a night during road trip. Room was clean and it didn't smell and it was most important to us. Bed was comfy. Reasonable price

The lady at the front desk was happy to accommodate our needs. We almost were late checking out and she was still nice and made some changes so we didn't have to change rooms. Definitely my favorite place to stay in Idaho Springs

My husband and I stayed here. Very friendly staff. The rooms are very clean , roomy , and quiet. Very affordable also has hot tub. ❤ We have stayed at many places on our vacation from Louisiana to Colorado , and H&H Motor Lodge has been the best. We would definitely recommend staying here if you are planning to visit Idaho Springs colorado.

Rustic lodge, clean rooms, very friendly staff! VERY dog friendly which my labs loved. Will stay here again!

Great hotel for the location! Beds and bedding looked brand new and were so comfy to sleep on! The front desk was so helpful and recommended the hot springs, which were amazing!! I definitely recommend sleeping here if in town.

We had fun! It was a clean hotel. Most workers were polite and nice!

My husband and I have stayed here a few times. Its a basic, clean, and reasonably priced hotel. Not a 5 star hotel by all means, but the owner and staff are ALWAYS nice, so that's what makes this a 5 star review !! I made the mistake of staying elsewhere and regretted it. We will be back to stay at H&H for all our future stays!!

My wife and I stayed 2 days. Good friendly service. The room was small but cozy. Thank you folks. The town was neat besides the road construction. Adlers from Missouri.

The rooms were very comfortable and clean! The gentleman that helped us with our room was very accommodating! I would definitely stay again!!

It was a very nice Motel the only downside was that there's a lot of people that seem like they were staying there for extended periods of time and they smoke lots of weed inside the establishment and it reeks of marijuana everyday

Pulled in at night and was a little worried from the looks up to the doorstep that we may be in a less than great place. . BUT.. nice place, clean, unique, comfotable & clean... people were nice too!:)
