Best coffee we’ve had in a while and the homemade whip cream is the cherry on top!! Service was fantastic and atmosphere was so cozy. Great location! We went and enjoyed coffee a few times here on our vacation. Highly recommend!! Plus you can grab a bag of local coffee grounds.

Adorable coffee shop in Idaho Springs. We stopped on our way to hike St. Mary’s Glacier. Friendly staff, clean restrooms, great coffee, and large selection of pastries.

The Frothy Cup was so good. Went there 2 days in a row. Had the White Water Rage with Carmel and whipped cream on top. Price was about normal compared to all specialty coffees. The service was attentive, polite and welcoming. Nice atmosphere to go and sip on a coffee and enjoy your surroundings. I didn't have anything to eat but all pastries looked delicious and I should of had a breakfast burrito (Dang it!). No direct on street parking since it's in the closed off area on the main historical street section.
Would definitely go again next time I'm in the Springs.

The Frothy Cup is a classic coffee shop in the historic downtown blocks of Idaho Springs. We visited on a busy Sunday morning and they had a team of four working hard to deliver great tasting coffee. I ordered the Caramelized Hazelnut Iced Coffee with real caramel on the bottom of the cup with hazelnut flavoring and the coffee, topped with the milk of your choice. The coffee was nice and strong and while it started out just a little bitter it mellowed nicely.

In addition to their coffee menu, they offer a selection of food items including a display of bakery items like muffins, Danish, and croissants. We opted for the Strawberry and Cheese Danish which they warmed up for us and it was a nice treat. In addition, they offer breakfast burritos, two different varieties of quiche, and bagels. They also offer soup, which would be great on a cold winter day.

We're locals, and we absolutely LOVE our small, local coffee shop! Every food and coffee item we've tried has been delightful. Our toddler especially loves the blueberry muffin and homemade whipped cream. The Frothy Cup can't be beat!

We ordered a Snickers Hot Latte and Peppermint Patty Iced Latte. 10/10 would recommend. Seating was very very limited at the time we visited, but it was raining so everyone tried to find a place to land for a bit. Overall, a very good experience. The drinks were delicious.

I had one of the best croissants I've ever had with the spinach and feta croissant. Im being serious, run don't walk. Coffee was also very good. Very cute place to stop for a coffee if you're in Idaho springs.

I stopped by this cafe for an iced caramel latte. It was delicious. I would highly recommend! The atmosphere and customer service was great as well. They provide alternative dietary options and have a great overall selection of affordable food and drink!

Had a great experience here! Tucked into one of the stores along miners st in Idaho Springs. Touristy street, but super fun. The decor in the store is definitely not your modern day sleek, metal on wood, coffee hang out. Old plates, dusty piano, cheesy decor with old tables and plants everywhere, but very inviting. The iced latte was good, and the young lady working the counter with the super short hair was soooo nice and friendly. Great job, people, and keep it up!

Very cute little shop with yummy coffee and pastries. It was a little busy when we went but the staff was all really sweet and were all working hard to get all the drinks out fast. The shop is a fun spot to sit for a while too, lots of plants and good music.

In the old miners town of Idaho Springs, one can find a comfy cozy coffee spot, a mountain chic reprieve from mountain sun or afternoon thunderstorms, in the Frothy Cup. The coffee shop is a historic building surrounded by many boutiques, breweries, and restaurants on a pedestrian street.

All items in the cafe are home-made and inside it is complete with a roastery in the back and fresh baked goods. Even the whipped cream is homemade (highly recommended putting some on top of your latte).

We shared a few lattes with a cowboy cookie - because when in Rome…🤠

It seems like many people come to work from home or catch up with locals, plenty of seating with lofty ceilings to make the space feel expansive.

My husband and I came and visited from out of state last year and had to come back again this year! Delicious iced lattes and very friendly baristas. I let them surprise me with a drink they make based off what I like and it’s always delicious! Great atmosphere and friendly service.

This place is awesome! The ambience and atmosphere was top notch. We stopped in for smoothies, they were all fresh ingredient hand made and delicious! Can't wait to go back for coffee!

Just fall in love of this place. It’s reminded me a L’viv, Ukraine, my home, that have a lot of those small authentic coffee shops with a personal signature of it) surprisingly, I did not really want coffee at the moment I step in, so on the question - what coffee I want? I ask a barista to make me her best coffee. She did… and it was just incredibly delicious! Highly recommend!

Heard from a friend about this place so stopped in driving back to Denver from skiing. Greeted warmly as we entered and enjoyed great coffee including the Valentine’s Day special. I accidentally left my sling bag behind, not realizing it until I was at the airport. Kim, the manager, was phenomenal and mailed it back to me at my home. Great coffee, great service!

This place is SO PERFECT. We drove from Denver to get away from the city and work on our grad school applications.
Two words. THE FOOD. Ok four words…. THE COFFEE!!!!!!

Seriously everything that went into our mouths was straight made from heaven. We will be back to work on our applications every weekend!

We are here from St. Louis and our first time here. I had latte and Frothy's Gone Nuts muffin. Maybe the best muffin I ever had. I’m a sucker for Carmel, Apple and Pecans so it’s a perfect combo for me.

Super cool spot, has some great seating especially if you can get to the window and it's snowing (like we did). Good/great drip coffee, good options for snacks/baked goods. Surely worth stopping in for a cup of joe and dessert!
