U-Haul Moving & Storage at Hixson Pike

I went to the Hixson, TN location because I could not reserve truck online (system glitch). I soon learned that they did not have the truck I needed for the small task I was working on. Upon learning how close I lived to this location, location of the pick up and the amount of time I needed the rental, the rep (David Thomas), made arrangements to assist me without interrupting UHaul business. Your professionalism and service exceeded my expectations. I was absolutely blown away. Not only am I grateful for his assistance but I am also honored to write a review to share the type of service I received and to say THANK YOU AGAIN.

Ok so first of all I know that people make mistakes. There is a new employee who screwed up my reservations 3 times and cost me a lot of money! But I want to brag on Miranda and the assistant manager Anthony who was sooo nice they went above and beyond to fix what had been done they were great! I'm grateful for them! Ask for Miranda if you have to use this location!

I'm currently at this business . They're putting a trailer hitch on my jeep. The staff was very friendly to every customer that walked in including me. They're a bit pricey , but you get what you pay for . They're doing a great job despite any bad reviews they get !!

I have dealt with this location on several occasions. Each time the guys could not do enough for me. I spent years in the service industry and expect good service from those people I deal with and these guys did not disappoint at all purely.

Absolutely easy and wonderful experience.
The owner Scott is really kind and helpful. He got me into my truck easily and his team came out and made sure the mirrors were all in the right place. They also shared some tips and tricks for the truck.
When I returned they asked if there were any issues so that they can always make sure their trucks are in top condition. There wasn't since I know they take good care of their fleet.

checking in took less than 10 minutes, and checking out was just as fast.

Friendly, efficient, thorough and focused on the customer are the best ways to describe this business.

Rented a storage unit from this location but I have previously rented truck and van. Got great customer service and very clean storage unit . Will use again !

I've been renting trucks and trailers from this location for about 8 years. They are consistently excellent.

We had to stop at this U-Haul facility purely by chance, as a generator we were towing in the trunk of our suburban had begun leaking in our car toting two babies. The fumes were very dangerous for both the young children and ourselves. We were scrambling to find a way to store the generator or get a trailer to haul it, and we managed to find this U-Haul. The two women there helped us out tremendously. The manager, Lemetri, was very patient with us and very accommodating. She showed us our options with a trailer and a storage unit, helping us find the perfect fit. The workers there were quite literally a lifesaver. I highly recommend anyone to handle their storage or moving needs with them!

I have had unpleasant experiences in the past with U-Haul, their equipment, and this location in particular. This time around, U-Haul corporate gave us a good price (well below the posted price), the van we rented had 1600 miles on it, the van came well equipped (cruise control, power windows, aux input on the radio), and the counter associate was easy to get along with.

I was pleasantly surprised by what a nice experience we had renting from this location.
Our truck was waiting for us as scheduled and was filled with a full tank off gas and extremely clean.
The most impressive thing was the customer service. Courtney, the manager was personable, overly accomodating, and professional. She went above and beyond to insure our move would go smoothly.
I highly reccomend this location.

Very great service. Casey fixed my trailer hitch for me that the uhaul on Virginia St in Reno NV messed up. He completely had to redo my trailer hitch. Casey was very professional and polite. Thank goodness for this location, they actually knew how to fix my trailer hitch on my jeep. Very friendly people from start to finish.

I used this facility for storage of all my belongings over the summer and then rented a moving van from them. My stuff was clean, safe, and exactly how I left it. The truck rental was very easy, I was able to change the date and truck size up to the day before which was really helpful. The manager is very good at her job and will do what she can to make things easy for the customer. The other staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Moving is always stressful but these people made it better.

Had a hitch installed on my 2012 Honda Accord for about $300 total and it has worked flawlessly. Used it to tow a couple thousand miles already, and they had my car back to me less than 24 hours later. On top of that, they even GAVE ME A RIDE HOME when I dropped my car off!! Couldn't have asked for better service, they definitely went above and beyond my expectations!

We arrived to pick up our auto hauler 5 minutes before closing time, because it took us longer than expected to pack the truck. Richard and the team at uhaul at Hixson we’re amazing. They stayed open late for us to get the trailer hooked up and loaded, and throughly inspected the rig to make sure we were going to be safe! Not only we’re they helpful but they were so very kind as well! Thanks again Richard and everyone at uhaul Hixson in Chattanooga, TN. Y’all will always have my business!

My sister and I dropped off a trailer that we towed from reno Nevada. We asked Casey to fix her hitch on the jeep that Reno did wrong. Casey fixed it right and showed us what was wrong and showed us what he done to fix it. He was respectful and professional. They have always done me right here .

I decided to use uhaul after budget had me a truck reserved at a location that was no longer open. I met with Courtney and she went above and beyond to secure me a truck for a one way trip. She saved our trip I would definitely come back here again and recommend the location based on customer service!

The associates were very welcoming. We were nervous about moving homes, but they made us feel comfortable. They answered all of our questions with detail and helped us pick the perfect sized truck for our needs.

Richard & Old Man Ben are customer service extraordinaires. They helped me pack my box in my car and gave me some zip ties. 10/10 would recommend using this store, these guys will help you with anything you need!

When I was there 4 months ago and was in and out on my way in less than 1 hour. Now I'm going by there this afternoon to pick up a trailer and moving the rest of my stuff from Chattanooga and going back to North Carolina. I've never had a bad experince with Uhaul of Hixson, TN.
