They have a good variety of meats, I got skirt steak to make arrachera and it was very tender also the chorizo is the best I have eaten in this area, plus they offer Mexican produce that you can only find in here such as purslane!. The staff is super friendly, and welcoming, they help us to find the ingredients we were looking for, we are returning customers for sure, totally recommend it.

Best tacos that I have found in Chattanooga so far!

It was nice to see a carniceria with a good variety and quality meats like we had when we lived in AZ. We will be regulars from now on.

This store has every product imaginable to cook an authentic MEXICAN meal. The restaurant side has wonderful MEXICAN food. I will always shop here whenever I come back to Chattanooga. We where visiting from California.

This review is for their fresh salsa verde......OMG. 👏👏👏👏👏

We recently moved from CA and have been disappointed with the salsas here in the Chattanooga area. Everything we have tried has been a step above ketchup.

And then we stumbled upon this store and we are THRILLED to find a delicious green salsa that has flavor AND spiciness. It is super authentic and delicious. My mouth was so happy! Thank you so much! We will be back to try out your restaurant.

There are a few Carniceria Loa around Chattanooga but this is the first one I tried eating in. They don’t really advertise the restaurant side too much, although you can see that there is a ‘Mexican Restaurant’ sign outside.

It is a little tricky to order: you check their menu board (updated daily) and then you order it on the (grocery) cash register. For drinks, you can order special Mexican drinks (aguas frescas, horchata) from the fountain or grab a drink from the fridge before you order and pay.

A gentleman that works in the shop explained to me that they have pretty much everything that a tex mex restaurant would have, although clearly theirs would be more authentic. Tacos, burritos, gorditas, pupusas, fajitas, you name it.

Me and my husband tried a total of 4 tacos for lunch (no sides): lengua (beef tongue), chicharones, asada and chicken. It was AMAZING. Definitely best tacos we’ve had in Chattanooga. The best part is our total was about 10$ (including bottled water we grabbed from the fridge). Granted, we weren’t ravenous so it was not the biggest meal, but it still filled us up all the way until dinner.

The grocery store isn’t the biggest but it was pretty well stocked, especially the produce section which I really love. Although some of the workers’ english is limited but you can tell they try their best to be helpful, and for me that’s what matters most.

Great selection, great prices. Awesome tacos in the taqueria inside. Lots of fresh produce, meat market offers choice cuts hard to find and perfect for Hispanic dishes. All the herbs and spices needed to recreate dishes to taste like home. Yummy Mexican candy and paletas. Friendly staff, they have it all!

Really good tacos!

This place has all the essentials for a WONDERFUL authentic meal. They also have the best vegie selection of the three stores in Chattanooga that I have seen.

I was staying next door at the Holiday Inn Express. I was hungry and was hoping the grocery store would have a premade salad but they didnt so I found my way to the little restaurant inside. It was delicious. Totally authentic. They only had 4 booths. The woman cooking the food didnt speak English and I don't speak Spanish so the woman up front helped me and took my order. I paid $8.26 for 2 Barbacoa tacos. I thought it was a little on the pricey side but they were packed with meat and super delicious! They had a little sauce bar to add pico de gallo and cilantro and stuff. I got the habenaro sauce on one and guacamole sauce on the other. Let me just tell you as someone who loves spicy that the habenaro is in fact very spicy. It made my lips burn but it was I loved it. The tacos came on white corn tortillas. I dont like corn tortillas. I like flour but it was hard for me to tell the difference. They were amazing! Definitely eat here if you want amazing tacos!

Great food and groceries. It's actually open not like it says on Google maps as "Temporarily Closed " I repeat the store is open. I even just mentioned that just yesterday to one of the owners about why and how Google maps has the store listed as "Temporarily Closed " he said he would look into it. Thank God I still stopped by and noticed it opened
