Cataloochee Dental Group - Franklin

We are new to the area and needed to find a good practice to handle our routine dental work. Although we have great health and dental insurance (Delta Dental), it was somewhat difficult to find a local practice that was “in network” for our insurance. We were happy to find that Cataloochee Dental Group was in network.

In April 2023, my wife needed an emergency visit to fix a lost filling. Although we were not current clients, Cataloochee was able to fit her in within a week and did a great job. We just had our first routine cleaning and it was another great experience with this office. I had Kara for my hygienist and my wife had Lisa for hers. Both were friendly and professional and did a thorough cleaning job while causing no discomfort. We were both seen by Dr. House, who was also friendly and professional. As important to us, the front office staff were all very friendly and helpful.

We are so happy to have found our new family dental practice.

My family has been coming here since our move to Franklin. We love it, the care and concern they have for us as a Famiky in meeting our dental needs. Family oriented, highly recommend!

This was my second visit. I'm very impressed by the entire staff. Everyone is so pleasant & helpful. My initial visit & teeth cleaning was handled by Cara who was very professional while at the time very friendly. I have had 2 procedures by Dr Stanton. He demonstrates a caring attitude & strives to explain the procedure in understandable terms. He listens patiently to concerns.

Everyone was very nice and professional. Very nicely decorated lobby. The place was very clean. Yes, I would recommend this dental office. Kara was very gentle with the cleaning and did a great professional job suggesting ways I could help with the plaque build up on my teeth. Super satisfied!! Plus my gums are not sore this morning.

Dr. Maize and his staff are very professional and friendly. He discussed my options and it felt more like talking with a friend than a dentist I've never met. This visit was due to my first ordeal I've ever had with a tooth, so I was rather nervous at first but he had me laughing in the chair while working on my issue. The following day after the procedure I have no pain. Very competent. Definitely recommend his practice!

Everyone is very friendly and professional. I appreciate that they don't try to sell work that you don't really need like other places I have been. I had a small chip and they quickly just filed it smooth. Hygienists have all been very gentle. Highly recommend.

The staff is top notch! From beginning to end of my procedure, everything was explained to me in great detail. I have some problems, but a referral was immediate. Highly recommend them if you are looking for a dentist!

Back again for my second visit and they were as wonderful as the first!! They are so professional and friendly and treat you like family!! I love how they talk you through the procedure and make you feel better and they care about your wellbeing. Would highly recommend and so glad I found a wonderful group!!

No one else in Franklin would take new patients I called this office and they got me in ! I don’t like going to the dentist but the dental hygienist was amazing and the dentist was very caring and gentle! I highly recommend this office!

Awesome as always, Dr. Maize and his staff are the best. I've been a patient for probably over 20 years and NEVER once have I had an issue with any of them.

He and his staff were efficient, friendly and thorough. They explained a number of treatment options, answered lots of questions and were vvery professional.
