Beautiful visitor center! We stopped for lunch on our way to our Vrbo in Franklin (we're from Orlando, FL). The fall foliage, ample parking, and plenty of picnic benches made this a lovely stop on our trip.

We’ve been here before, and were impressed with the large parking lot, clean restrooms, and gift shop. So today (12/4/22) we stopped again to use the bathrooms. On this cold day, the water was warm, the soap smelled like almonds and I had a choice between paper towels or a hot air hand blower.

We visited the gift shop. Nice woman behind the counter asked if we needed help with anything. We meandered over to the tee shirts which were 50% off. Some raincoats were $39.95. I looked at the bookmarks, magnet butterfly gift cards, homemade cloth soup bowl warmers, and jewelry. There was lots to look out and buy. As we walked to the exit doors, the nice woman thanked us for visiting & wished us a good day. We almost bought the firewood by the door. It looked like a good price!

As we ambled down the stairs to our car, we passed the blue recycling and trash cans. No excuse NOT to recycle and no one should be littering with these blue bins positioned here!

A super, well kept rare rest area. Mostly for 4-wheelers but just a handful for semis. A gift shop with a few snacks and the modern bathrooms were perfect.

This is a super nice rest area. It is tucked down off of route 23. The bathrooms are really nice. The views are awesome. I wish we had more time to walk the trails. We came later in the day, around sunset, which was gorgeous. But the welcome store was closed. This test area is more than just a place to stop for the bathroom.

Very clean rest stop on 441. It's nestled down in a hollow but easy access from hwy. There is also a cute little gift shop with a friendly clerk. There is truck parking as well. One of my go to stops, if needed, on the way to Cherokee.

Great rest spot to eat and use the restroom. Everything is very clean and tidy. There are some very pretty flowers around the building and picnic areas. A small creek also runs behind the fence line that can be accessed.

Lots of great gifts and trinkets to buy. They have local jams as well. They also have coffee. The bathrooms are clean. You also can have a nice walk around the property. There are 3 spaces for semi trucks. Love the cabin design of the building.

Staff inside were so polite and helpful with the road closures due to ice. They marked a local area map to make sure we could safely navigate to our destination.

The place was great and there was a kind and sweet lady working there at the time of our visit. I bought local honey and got maps, the kids had fun tracing over all the places we passed by.

This place is one of the best visitor centers I have been to. My spouse left with many future Christmas presents. Whoever is buying the merch....they have taste!
