Piedmont Feed & Garden Center

Nice little local shop. Most of the plants are beautiful. The prices are pretty high as you might expect from a small shop like this. They cover stuff for your garden, horses, chicks, dogs, birds, etc. No one ever greeted me and I was in the store at least 20 minutes plus time outside and no one ever even nodded my way. I’ll give it another try perhaps.

This is a wonderful place to find native and non-native trees, shrubs, and flowering perennials as well as a diverse collection of colorful annual plants. They also have a multitude of interior plants many of which they propagate on-site. The store itself is a horse lovers haven!

One of my favorite places for plants and garden supplies. I’m a big garden and houseplant hobbyist and frequent a lot of nurseries -small business and big box alike - but the plants I get from Piedmont are among the healthiest, most robust, and disease/pest free plants. I don’t know what they do here but their plants are the best. And the staff is super helpful and accommodating and the store kitties are just a joy. Love this place so much.

Went for a lunch and learn class. Great location with lots of parking! Central to many areas. Huge greenhouse with lots of plant selections.

I never knew about the crocodile fern! The staff here is amazing and the selection wonderful and inspiring. I’m excited to get my green thumb in action thanks to this wonderful place!

Kicking myself for not going here sooner. This place has quite a surprising array of products, and is quite a bit larger than it first seems. There's even a whole wing for houseplants I found some unusual plants there (my husband even got a Carolina Reaper pepper - yikes)! And the variety of seeds was surprisingly good as well. The plant selection seems to be well thought-out, not the same handful of plants you find most anywhere. It was a pleasure to shop here, and I may have stayed longer if I didn't think it would have inconvenienced my companions.
There were chicks in the store, lots of garden products...too much to absorb on the first visit. I look forward to going back.

These guys are awesome! I run a small non-profit animal sanctuary in White Cross, and Piedmont Feed is my go-to place for everything from food to bedding to treats to supplies, etc. I also get the most wonderful plants and pots here. The staff is so kind, and they truly want to make sure that you are happy with your purchases. They even go above and beyond, like yesterday, when I needed straw but couldn't get there in time before they closed - they were happy to stack it up outside for me to pick up after closing. Thank you for being so awesome!

The customer service is above and beyond. I can't say enough great things about Piedmknt Feed and Garden. If they make a mistake they will go above and beyond to make it right. Even if you aren't upset.

This in a wonderful store for the gardener. The plant selection is second to only Plant Delights and the prices and convenience are much better.
the entire staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly, and they are often able to order plants for you. Just ask. There is also a great selection of mulch and topsoil (bulk and bagged), fertilizers, soil amendments, bird stuff, and who-knows-what else. If you need something, call them. The gardening seminars are very helpful and worthwhile I can't speak to the farm side because I am not a farmer, but I bet the selection is equally good. My only wish is that the guy driving the loader had better aim - too much of my topsoil was spilled on the ground.

For me arriving at Piedmont is like a child walking into a toy store! Gardening and all things about farms and flora and fauna define most of my passions, so I appreciate how thoroughly stocked this garden center/feed is for both domestic and wild animal supplies. The people who work here including the owners are extremely friendly and always helpful. If one doesn’t know the answer to a question, another usually does. It’s also very clean and organized with a lot of room in which to move about. They had an online and on-phone solution to finding necessities during the early days of “Stay at home” now having an established protocol used in order to shop inside as well as outside. They also as usual accommodate delivery of bulk materials at home and a way to have them bring things to your car when you need help, by calling ahead. Check out hours of business and be sure to help protect yourself and others by wearing a mask.

Wonderful farm and garden establishment. Great selection of trees, flowers, shrubs, and veggie starts. Inventory is first rate and we'll cared for. The owners and staff are always helpful and knowledgeable. Well worth checking out if you haven't yet and they have a loyal following.

Piedmont has a great selection of very healthy heirloom tomato plants. I had been unable to find Mortgage Lifter at other garden shops last year, but got some great plants here. This year, I came right to Piedmont for my gardening needs and got some beautiful plants that are already taking off. Their perennial flower selection is also top notch. The butterflies are loving my lantana. I can generally always find a friendly, helpful employee if I have questions or can't find something. They also offer some fun and informative weekend workshops on gardening. All in all, they're a great local business that really seems to care about their customers.

Great selection and service. They have lots of landscaping plants, and some really cool indoor tropical plants that you can't get anywhere else around here. I haven't killed any plants I've bought there, which speaks more to their green thumb than mine.

I really like Piedmont Feed. I get high quality dog and cat food, reasonably priced (dogs Taste of the Wild and cats Natural Balance). My animals like the food and appear healthier than when they were on “fancier” food from the pet store. Piedmont Feed has a beautiful garden section. The customer service is very high quality and everyone is very friendly who works there. They have animal food/supplies for dogs, cats, chickens, horses, etc. They have flea medicine and collars etc too. Big garden section, planters and pots of all sizes, succulents and air plants, seeds. Also I love the front area with lovely local hand soaps and lotions and other cute things. Piedmont Feed is great!

I love this store! They have an amazing selection of plants, pottery and gifts. We drive here for pumpkins each Halloween and get our tree here each Christmas because they have the best quality and service around.

Really great gardening supplies, plants and pet food. The mulch is high quality and reasonably priced. It is a wonderful place to get little gifts too. The staff is helpful and friendly.

I have shopped at Piedmont Feed since 2002 when I moved to the area. It was adequate back then but since the change in ownership the store has really blossomed (pun intended), from perennials, to fairy gardening and pet supplies it is brimming. I love how they spruced up the front with beautiful gardens and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I am a happy neighbor and shopper. Miriam Lieberman
