Wells Bridge River Access

Not very clean as far as the grounds. Not much of a launch site either. A dirt and half paved turn around with one small foot path to a small spot where launching isn't the easiest. Nothing special here, just access to the river. Kayak to Hanging Dog camp grounds from this spot frequently. Get in and get out, fast launches and simplistic.

Perfect spot to take out if you kayaked from the put in at mission dam. This is easy access from highway 64 and a soft spot in the river to pull out your kayak and gather your gear.

Great place for us to float back down to our river lot. The access is a little rough to get down the the water . It gives us a 3 mile float to our lot

Decent place to put out for a tubing trip, a bit rocky, but it does the job.

Would be nice if this place had a better Kayak Launch area. Kayaked from here on Saturday, April 18 2020 to the Hiwassee Street Boat Ramp in Murphy, NC. Some spots were quite difficult to go over the rocks. They need to put more water through Mission Dam for Kayakers. But, eventually made it. This place has potential for Tubing and Kayak Recreation if only it could be better maintained and developed. It is a shame that it is not. I posted a You Tube Video of the Kayak adventure.
