Iowa Donuts

OMG! My husband and I pulled off the exit to eat at McDonalds and missed the turn. We ended up passing by this Donut place and decided to stop! This place did not disappoint us travelers! Fresh and delicious food! We will make this our stop when passing through on our next trips! I must add, the customer service is top rate as well! Very nice people.

Freshly baked bread and donuts fantastic out of this world.
Great options for travelers.
They open 4:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 7 days a week.
The portions are oversized and wonderful priced.
Will come back just for the donuts.

I do not stop here often becase I would definitely gain too much weight! (Food is wonderful).

On this particular occasion I went in for breakfast about 6:30 am. Around 11:00 am I get a call from my insurance company, of all things, asking if I was in the donut shop that morning. Although I found the question odd, I said that I was.

It turned out a credit card and debit card had fallen from my wallet and the owners posted something somewhere the insurance company saw it. They called me, I returned to the donut shop and got my cards back!

Now that is service above and beyond by both the donut shop and the insurance company. Thanks to both.

We called right before 12:30 when they closed , and the staff was so nice! They took our order, told us they would wait for us to arrive, and they were SO sweet. And on top of that, they made us fresh burritos!! This is DEFINITELY our favorite breakfast stop when we’re driving through. And the food is amazing!

I love this place because it is extremely unique.
Their Donuts, Coffee and Kolaches are super Fresh.
I was impressed by their customer service and how fast they took care of Drive-Thru orders.
We look forward to visiting again and again.

I was a little late this morning getting to the shop. They had been nearly sold out. But everyone was in good spirits and the donuts were great. Might ask if they can do some longtom maple bars.

Awesome people. Very friendly. My mom and I stop during our trips every 2 or 3 moths.

Apple fritter was perfect!! Food was worth the wait in line. There is only a menu on the wall near order window so I shared pics.

Modern facility and always clean. A smiling face to greet you when you walk in the door and the smell of fresh donuts gets the juices flowing. The display case is full of delights that both look and taste good! The drink selection is amazing! Cold coffee,hot coffee, energy drinks.fruit juice and three or four choices of milk make this place a must stop by when in Iowa! Give them a try!

This place is always so good. We especially like their breakfast burritos (chorizo and western)! Plus. They make their own salsa which is what sends it over the top! Very polite people. Donuts are good and soft. Usually get donut holes and blueberry cake and it never dissapoints

My first time going and they are good but the conversation I had with the little boy in there was even better. God Bless ALL the little children🙏🏽

This place has some amazing breakfast food! The sausage, egg & cheese croissants are fantastic! The boudin kolaches are so tasty! The staff is friendly and quick!

Did you know they open at 3 am !!
Oh yes they sure do..and the food..the donuts are to die for especially when they are hot..they melt in your mouth..

OMG! These people cook delicious delicacy grub. Donuts are wonderful, get yourself a smoothie, colaches and chorizo burritos are out of this world, mouth watering phenomenal!😋😋

Well I'll just say this. I ride my bicycle 1 mile each way, and don't care if it's freezing or raining. Awesome donuts & service. Nuff said.

Breakfast burrito 🌯 was enough to eat twice and tasted fantastic. Smoothie was a little sweet for me but the flavor was really good.

This is the BEST BAKERY IN ALL OF LAKE CHARLES. THE FAMILY THAY OWNS IT IS KIND AND CARING. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IOWA DONUTS TO ALL PEOPLE IN THE LAKE CHARLES AND SURROUNDING AREAS. ITS THE BEST.
