Amy's On The Avenue

Adorable little cafe in crystal river. I love that they have outdoor seating in a private patio area. I posted the menu in the comments. Very cafe style foods consisting of sandwiches, wraps, salads, etc. they serve coffees and mimosas as well!

The server was quick and attentive, and answered any questions I had. My friend ordered a hummus appetizer, BLT entree, and mimosa. The hummus was very good! It did need a few more slices of pita to be able to eat all of the hummus. I also ordered a BLT, as well as an Amy's cookie and slice of hummingbird cake to go. BLT was delicious, came with pickle and chips. When I got home I tried the cake and it was soooooo good. My lord it was delicious. The cookie sounded like it would be sweet but def wasn't. It has chocolate, macadamia nuts, and coconut in it. On the way out I caved and got two truffles. They are kinda pricey, but very good. There is a cute little shop attached to the cafe as well!

Overall I would def come back. I thought it was adorable, the food was good, and the prices were fair. Cute little downtown spot!

Cute little side stop. Has a beautiful gift shop and a little caffe off to the side. Menu offers a good variety of foods. Service was very friendly and kid. Outside seating was very pretty.

I first tried Amy’s while I was parked outside of the Cafe as a vendor for the Stone Crab Jam. I loved the Greek Salad with a jumbo shrimp on top!

I brought my daughter & son-in-law to this charming bistro for lunch after Christmas. It was chilly, so we sat inside, but normally I like to sit in the courtyard. The service was excellent & food was delicious. We all shared a huge slice of Hummingbird cake for dessert. And don't forget to explore the cute gift shop! A fun experience.

Perfect lunch spot! Lots of seating, bathroom is clean, staff are fast and knowledgeable. We loved the Cobb and Avenue salads. The menu also has a good variety so we look forward to coming back and trying a new dish. What really makes Amy's stand out is the downtown location next to other shops and the wonderful display of desserts to choose from!

Update: We had Amy's breakfast this morning for the first time! We were welcomed and seated immediately on the back patio. Our food came out within minutes and it was hot & fresh. If you like sweet breakfast, the cinnamon roll is the way to go (sooooo good!). We also tried the bacon & cheddar quiche which did leave a little something to be desired. I wish it had a crust or even a bit more seasoning. The breakfast menu pricing is very affordable for the quality. Overall we will keep coming back to this great local spot.

I’ve been visiting Crystal River for years and I first saw the cute little gem just before the Covid lockdown so I wasn’t able to go inside. I was up there this past weekend and was looking for a place for breakfast with my sister when I remembered Amy’s. I so glad we went. We entered and were greeted by their wonderful staff who made us feel like we were family. The decor is is absolutely stunning as they’re also a boutique with some of the most beautiful and tasteful gifts and treasures. It’s decorated for the holidays and it really gave us that warm holiday feeling. I ordered the avocado toast and it was mouth watering good, which is something I rarely say. The bread was fresh, thick and perfectly toasted and was topped with herbed cheese, spring greens, avocado with a drizzle of honey. My sister had the BLT croissant and loved hers equally as much. The owners use quality product and you can absolutely tell they care about their customers. We took two slices of cake to go. Their hummingbird cake and key lime. My sister said she was going to share, but we both love our cake so much that we decided to keep our own. Value for dollar, this is spot on. Make sure to stop by because you will not be disappointed.

Loved this place. Was recommended to us by a family member. We had coffee drinks and a few of their chocolate desserts that look like large chocolate bonbons. They were amazing. Shop was cute with lots of fun gift items. They had tables for those lunching in.

Amy’s is one of those small town gems, a coffee shop cafe with healthy, tasty meal options, incredible baked goods (stunning, huge cake slices!), and a back patio garden with painted murals! It shares a space with a gift shop that is my go-to for specialty truffles when needing a great gift!

The potato soup was beyond delicious. Only critique is that it should have been hotter. It was luke warm at best, but tasty enough to warrant no deduction in stars. The "French Dip" on a croissant with brie was also quite yummy! Will definitely be back!!

So this is my first time at Amy's I ordered a Greek salad and they put potato salad on the bottom of it. And the olives were pitted and a grilled shrimp came on top of it, for garnish. The service was excellent from K, she let me take a pic of her. But I will definitely come back to try some different things on the menu. I loved being on the patio good music awesome atmosphere. Thank you K you're a great example of a perfect waitress!

Excellent coffee latte served here, in fact it was better than the last Starbucks I had. Lovely large seating outside at the back and a table at the front too. Small selects of bakery items to have with your drink. Hot food available as well I believe. Very clean loo and open view of the kitchen always good signs. They also sell art, with a lot of pictures on the wall in the cafe having price tags. The other part of the business is a separate shop.

What a great place! Vegetarian options. Fresh. The Greek salad was filling and so good! Check out the dessert options. And try the cake bites! 1 block away east is a free public parking lot.

Wife had the Smoked Turkey Sandwich and me the Cobb. Both very good. Sat outside in the patio garden. Peaceful and tastefully done. Service by Kate was excellent and prices cheap for all you get.

Make sure to ask about the back patio, it's a little hidden and amazing. The food was fresh as well as delicious. The tea selection so cute on the platter and the servers were wonderful. For the quality of the food and atmosphere it's so affordable. I'm so happy I stumbled across this hidden gem.

Intimately elegant. The clothing very high quality and inexpensive. The chocolate looked amazing. I did not indulge this time. I had already eaten lunch when I visited, but it is numero uno on my list of places I need to go. The staff was upbeat and friendly. First class.

Wonderful experience! We had the Shrimp and Grits and the Crab Bisque. They were both great. Service was fast and friendly. Shrimp and grits were seasoned perfectly, and topped with bacon. Crab bisque was great with large chunks of crab in every bite. This will be must stop for us when come to Crystal River. If the weather is good ask to sit out back.

Potato soup, turkey sandwich on a toasted croissant. Seriously fantastic. We'll be back. Great service as well. Spouse got the club sandwich, and was good as well.
