Flotzies Soft Serve

I came across this nice place while passing through and it was a great find. The friendly people here reopened it on June 11, 2023. It is delicious soft serve ice cream and it is currently decorated for Autumn. These folks have great vision and have made it look so nice. There is plenty of seating. I had something called a Flotzie, which is like. Blizzard at a national ice cream chain. I chose the Snickers Flotzie. The ratio of ice cream to Snickers was spot on.
The Mrs. had Apple Pie à la mode. She said it was delicious, but this thing with gigantic, not that that’s a bad thing…
If you are in the area and want some cool tasty treats, I recommend you try this place out!

This place was delicious! Definitely worth a visit. Stopped here after a hike and they were sweet enough to turn on one of the heaters for us. Our dog also loved the pup cup!

Phenomenal ice cream and environment. The owner came up and talked to us and was very personal and friendly. Also, the fall decorations are adorable, and outdoor heaters are convenient when eating ice cream outdoors

Very large portions of ice cream at a very fair price. The Flotzie (like a blizzard) is just enormous. The small is like a pint of ice cream. I got a come, and the medium was enormous. Definitely make this a stop on your way through Luray for good and cheap ice cream.

Absolutely wonderful! We were glamping up in the Shenandoah National Park and dropped down to Luray to listen to the Singing Tower Carillon. Flotzies appears to be a permanently anchored food truck. It's on the corner of a huge parking lot with a set of tables and umbrellas to sit and enjoy your treats. Apparently they have a special flavor (ours was butter pecan), and so there were a few specials capitalizing on that flavor. I had a Praline Sundae based on it. Their menu on Google was hard to read so I took several pictures and cropped each page to upload here. The custard was absolutely the creamiest I have tasted and the flavors were natural and not overpowering. If you are in Luray you need to go to Flotzies!

Very good ice cream. Banana was flavor of wk and it was excellent. Would definitely recommend this place.

In Luray for 37th wedding anniversary, me and my wife stopped here for ice cream and came back every night till we had to leave, great place for ice cream 🍨

Good soft serve. Love the twist waffle cone. Different flavor of the week. Local favorite hangout so expect a crowd on the weekend but the staff does a good job keeping the line moving

Fantastic ice cream! We went to Packs ice cream earlier in our visit and decided to go to Flotzies and compare the two. Flotzies won out in flavor for all 5 of us. Would definitely recommend!

They have great ice cream here! A great place to go when you are craving ice cream! They have lots of flavors!They aren't open yet.

Solid soft serve spot! Their sundaes/cones and soft serve flavors are on point. The sundaes are pretty sweet so, just get the soft serve with light toppings if you like something less sweet.
